actually rox.... I'm not even sure why you got booted in the first place. I played no part in that.
And furthermore I'm one of the many that wishes you hadn't. You offered me advice when I moved to Tucson and I very much appreciated it at the time and didn't forget that.
Others made the decision to send people packing. you were one. Essentially you were asked to take a time out and consider your behaviour. Is your above post the result? yikes.
I take no moral ground - high or low - in any of this. But truth you cannot deny is at the end of the day it was indeed CMac alone that kicked you off. by returning I don't see how you respect him or his forum. The rest of us - we are stupid pawns. Just ask werner.
My OP of this thread was asking an honest question - had you returned. Sure, I could have taken 10 more minutes to read between the lines and realized you had.
Though I won't read most of what you wrote I do ponder - exactly what harm did I cause you?
At the end of those thoughts I conclude.

One could wonder if all or most of the bannings were inspired by the same wee faction of carpers and lamentologists.
Nature seemed to gloat a mite over Rox's fresh expulsion... but I doubt he intended any of the oustings. And he doesn't seem the sort to grumble to the executive board.
Hopefully, our respected colleague from Boise will cool and rethink the Death Seeks Geeks manifesto ...and not ask Doug to mail back his friendship ring.

I'm not sure I gloated over Rox's ousting. On the contrary, I've been consistent in stating I didn't really even know why it happened.
LEB, on the other hand.... like most of us... I threw a party.
Though I have to admit things were getting ugly around here and so when CMac went whacking away I thought it a good idea. But from a personal point of view I never thought Rox should be sent packing. LEB, yes. skipt - earned it. wes, I probably understand that and to be honest wes is probably much better off as he can focus on his dissertation. Then there is fatty - my buddy.
and rox did send me a nice silver friendship ring. Too bad I have to melt it down and make tips for the arrows of my large dart gun.
