A very interesting speech by a very enlightened young man. It's worth a peek. If we want to make a differance we have to educate the young. I am afraid it's too damn late late for most our generation we are soo set in our ways that a dramatic change is next to impossible.

Sounds like a plan, just make sure you guys kill yourselves when you turn 70. You know, just in case you happen to live longer and become all crabby.

Well, Muslims and Jews consider eating bacon (or not) to be a religious issue, anyway.

Butter and butter oil are our “super foods” which contain the “X factor”, discovered by Weston Price.
Glandular Organ Extracts – to promote health and healing of the corresponding organ.
Poached brains of animals should be added to other ground meats for better nutrition
Raw cows milk and meat broth should be fed to newborns who don’t breast feed, rather than infant formula.
Regular ingestion of clay (Azolimite Mineral Powder) because the clay particles remove pathogens from the body.
There are benefits of feeding sea salt to infants and babies
Fruits and vegetables should be limited in children’s diets.

If it's not in the Book of Dingus, than it's a religious issue.

100 is the old 70. 100 years ago, the average life expectancy was 47!! There are a few things going very right, glass half empty folks.
I am an omnivore. It is the balance of what you take in and what you put out that keeps you healthy. The combination of fast food and sitting is what is killing us. It is a lifestyle issue. People eat crap because they are bored, comforting themselves, or rewarding themselves. Outsized portions and no exercise are insidously hurting us.
Don't push your eating religion on me. It is very amusing to see folks fooling themselves that they are eating healthy when they buy processed foods and meals in restaurants. You really don't know what is in your food if it is processed or cooked by someone else.
I may be very ordinary in so many ways. But I am never sick and strong enough to tackle many different adventures. The glass is half full for those of us that eat lots of things in moderation -so long as they are fried, and come from a fast food chain - and look forward to their exercise (AKA FUN) every day.

It cracks me up that the moongoddess hippie types who push a "natural" raw food, grain free, vegan diet somehow gloss over the fact that our closest primate relatives (bonobos and chimps) are both omnivores, eating invertebrates as well as small verterbrates, eating herbaceous vegetation including the grain, hunting, and at least in the case of bonobos, yes eating termite clay for mineral content.

You mean plants? LOL.
Read the book. Grain is fine. Doesn't need to be raw either.

But Dingus, you said we are omnivores implying we can thrive on meat. I just replied how I felt. Why is my opinion religious and yours is not?
Seamstress, there are plenty of bad vegetarian, vegan, diets, just like there is some seriously bad meat diets like Atkins.
