in trying to recreate a cocktail I had in the city I crafted this...
from the garden: 2 kafir lime leaves, mint, lemon verbena muddled in the shaker, 2 slices of cucumber.
a little mint infused simple syrup
1 part cucumber water (made with Pellegrino for extra credit).
2 parts Hendricks
Juice of 1 lime
Shake. Add ice. Shake again.
Pour. Finish with a bit of club soda or Pellegrino. Toss in a slice of cucumber.
serve doubles to 2.
Too metro? Whatever, it's amazing.
