"Sign In" as in maybe a name tag so the young kids can hover and pull on your pant leg for a signature or smile. Van Belle already has a request to have someone's flag signed when they meet up! Shoot, if I can get Royal Robbins to show and hang out below Robbin's Crack I might even be pullin' on his pant leg! Bridwell gave an awesome show on his Great Trango Tower climb at Vertical Hold gym and Tom Frost gave a Lotus Flower Tower presentation in Long Beach back in the day. We're going to see if they can repeat one of these for us veterans plus a young "phenom" to show and do the same for the young kids!

So just to do as you asked, throw ideas out......
It looks like Friday would be the big day with the climbing, vendors etc. ? Is that right ?
What about Friday being a warm up day, including Vertical Hold. Saturday being the heavy duty climbing day with party at Salad's or my casa is open also. Sunday wind down and go home day.
Edit: Royal is an amazing man. He showed up in C4 for our Bachar Memorial in September without even being asked. All the international's, young and older alike in C4, were jazzed and astounded. :D

Like minds think alike Lynne! How many (maximum) can you support Lynne for post party? I'm tellin' you, if this thing comes together, those at Woodson are going to remember this!

I'm laughing here in my room in Belgium. Deja vu all over again.
Do you know at the very first ever, I believe, (someone correct me if I'm wrong) Woodson Bouldering Contest we had the post party at our home.
So it would be an honor to host it. But by all rights Salad has the first call. lynnie

Salad has been contacted and a concern has been expressed at the number of people that may actually show for this, this time. He, also, suggested a larger venue if need be. He says fifty is pretty much the max for his place so if your property can support a considerably larger number Lynne then we'll consider your place.

What about Dr. F, Craig Frye, did he climb at Woodson ? or Spencer. I know D. Nakahira did and Maria C. and R. Vogel. How bout G. Epperson, Mari, Mike L., Rob Raker, Johnny Woodward.....hey, if yo gonna invite the new ones might as well include some of the first great guns. :D

Personally, I think if you try and make a two day climbing event with booths & sponsors & hoopla it would be a wee bit over the top. I'd suggest just a Saturday event, and at least for me, the extra product circus is not particularly attractive. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
Someone should poke Karl Mueller, Ron Amick, & Jeff Almodovar and suggest they show up.

The list is becoming quite extensive! Thank you, illusiondweller, for putting this event together. If I can be of any help, please let me know.
Since it's the holiday season, here's a photo from last year of my younger brother next to the decorated pine at the top of Woodson near the cell towers.

Hey Ron,
Been meaning to contact you. Such Fun in Josh....thanks!! Your first lead in a while was indeed very well done....and a hand crack at that. And speaking of lead's, thanks for taking the lead in contacting many for this grate event.
We've had a couple weddings at our casa. Don't think having the event will be a problem. But will need to know a semi approx number to arrange for parking etc. If it's over say 125 it pro won't work. Onward and Merry Christmas, lynnie
Edit: Sonja, hi ! Maybe we can work together to help Gary pull this off. Love the pic of the tree and your bro....Feliz Navidad from Belgium So Cal :D

Thanks for the pictures of the Lie Detector. I like that view of the upper crack in Mungeclimbers photo. Nice. bvb, I think you're holding out on me bro. A local such as yourself would have done that thing more times than could be counted. You must have more pictures laying around.
Ron - sandbags? At Woodson? Yeah, a dime a dozen. Some things never change.
Rats, I forgot Bolton was going to be there. Just when I thought it would be safe to show up. Now I need to decide if I really feel like risking it. Hey, I know, I'll throw KP to the wolfs and make a run for it while Bolton is distracted.

So I have this 5 page guide to woodson that has section 3 "the missing link, and other wonders" and "heart of the congo" written on it. The version I have is cut off on all sides of all 5 pages. Does anybody have the full version of this guide?
Also does anybody have any info/maps on all the stuff that is bolted between PhD and Vice Principals? There is a big wall with bolts up to for two lines. I also found one that looks like Driving South but has one big diamond shape pocket on it. Or does anybody have info/maps on the stuff that's below Fall Semester towards the Y Crack (I think that's what it's called). Any and all info and maps would be great. You can just email them if you don't want them posted online.
The Deerhorn Guide would be appreciated as well
Thanks.
