Marlow, Thanks for putting up the whole Ry Cooder show from the Catalyst. Tobia has posted some of the music from this show...very cool to listen/see to the whole performance ...I lived in Santa Cruz for a tiny bit, and the Catalyst was one of my favorite music venues.

I often listen to music posted by Tobia and then Youtube suggests music to me connected to the music I have listened to before. Therefore I think I often post music that is identical to or connected to what other ST posters have posted before.

I can not track down where I read it, but Ry's wife allegedly said that he didn't like it because he looked stoned, which he seemingly was.
Also, I stand corrected - what's available is not the whole show, but rather parts of two shows (it's good though) and it played in 1988 on TV in the UK.

I'm on a tear with them, so good. I've been listening to them and similar music on Pandora for three days now.
