for those with ADD:

It is rather mysterious why the government has worked so hard to cover up so many things that should be general knowledge. Linda Moulton Howe is now literally overwhelmed by approaches from military people who were heavily threatened to keep secrets and who now no longer trust the government. Many of them are near the ends of their lives and want to publish their stories. Some of these stories are going back into the 1920s with US and UK intel documents on the Nazis. You've already heard enough stories to know what we're talking about here, whether or not you took them seriously.

This site is well known for misogyny, and the triple threat of a woman, an actual researcher and un-politically correct information will likely cause the worst pricks to jump on their erections and blaze around like the worst kinds of punks that they represent.

This from the guy channeling Sam Kinnison!

FWIW, the introduction to Ms. Howe's Wikipedia entry, which appears to be identical or nearly so to what was posted, says:

She seems a somewhat controversial figure.

Tom,

Thanks for all the posts. I read them with interest. I will be looking into Linda's website. Thanks again.

I would second Rokjox's warning. As much as I would like to see Linda post here, and talk with her, I fear for anyone of us on any given day for doing so. You never know what kind of juvenile attacks it will provoke or worse. Sometimes they are even XXX!

I'm getting to the point, and it is certainly from teaching HS for many years, all of us teachers develope this defense mechanism to some degree, we just got to let it all not bother us like "Water off a duck's back."

Tony, I'm not interested. I climb with people of all races, religions and from both sides of the political spectrum, but I don't climb with people I consider to be irrational. For example, you would not find me roping up with Klimmer.

i'm pretty interested in hearing what you know about climbing, GC, if anything. i've kinda come to think you're an outsider giving us a hard time.

Tom, please warn her carefully about the stinking anti-intellectuals on this site.

Now that is highly amusing. Is that what you think all this gross speculation and fiction is? An intellectual exercise? Now that's rich. When any of it gets peer-reviewed or presents hard evidence you'd have the beginnings of a scientific exercise, but still a long way from an intellectual one. As it is it's alternately a comedy of the absurd belief absent facts and a bunch of fiction writers making a buck.

you probably don't have much climbing experience if you draw the line at "rational".

As far as you're concerned, I don't have any! I don't climb with kooks!

Edit: This isn't a joke. It's rare that someone will post something to supertopo that would make me not want to climb with them "in real life" but it does happen. It's a very short list, but you're on it. Oh, and also, Tony, I really don't care WHAT you think.

he'll dig up some pics from his homeland security file--their resources are well-funded and pretty much unlimited. they use a lot of disney artists--you can see that in what he's giving us.

the real test would be some off-the-cuff knowledge about climbing. i don't think he has any. he's dodging the question here. he's probably over on other climbing sites going through trip reports and the like.

Tom, please warn her carefully about the stinking anti-intellectuals on this site. I found the riot that was occasioned by the pilot coming on our site to be overwhelming, and I wasn't even the focus of their screaming and hatred.

This site is well known for misogyny, and the triple threat of a woman, an actual researcher and un-politically correct information will likely cause the worst pricks to jump on their erections and blaze around like the worst kinds of punks that they represent.

the pilot came here to get hits on his site. he was(is) a sleeze bag that you looked up to and his pathetic attempt to get more hits resulted in him saying adios. too bad, i know you were like a giddy school girl when he showed up....must have been a major dispointment when he was outed and wouldnt play in your sandbox.
