upon further review ... hunh unh, not those two. big picture:
but it does happen that disparate images are neighbors,
and if the light is flat, rotation can disguise an overlap

The cold never lifted ,
the stream is not going anywhere,
this next place is across the houty-touty town
thats just south but a world away from my city - ish suburban digs.
Like a Reading California compared to Merced? I think?

this spetacular place is one of my all time favs. .

so not so much on the 1st one,
went to early and the light was direct, Look into the shadow, up the nostrils , making the frontal lobe , the nose-like shaped, hold, the chin of a smiling face,
i swear i don't schroom no more d-;
By way of explanation; I went to take pictures of the stream as it cuts thru a rocky gultch, that gets late afternoon sun. The steep approach was verglassed, so wearing sneakers with a 'Tread'd blue plastic-y' sole, I chose to go here instead. I'm never able to resit - should never have pulled up, it was clearly wet.

Heard the climbers wuz playin' the Indians today, WITHOUT COCHRAN'S BAT!!
edit: Late report on the game...after deciding not to wear headbands to show solidarity with the Indians, who seldom if ever bothered with them, the climbers (away team this year) took the contest in twelve innings.
