thanks for the Apparat, jingy!
Got turned on to the artist when another featured one of his tunes in a remix, since then I've been watching, waiting and hoping for more from the Apparat team crew.
For me it all sounds a bit unusual, but that is one of the things that draws me to the soundscapes created by the man and his crew.
Cheers Ed
Here's a take on the song that got me started on the Apparat groove
Remixed by another of my favorite artists Sasha

All but ignoring out of synch singers who can't keep time or harmony while some kids in the backdrop slam 2 trashcan lids together, also out of synch.
THIS:
Alan Jackson singing "Remember When". Dear Lord this is good.

...although I'll bet someone will say if at least to themselves "needs more trashcan lids"....

c-master: not many that can carry a tune like A Jackson, a throw-back to a different music era. he can mix heart and word on paper and get a beautiful song out of it.

The beautiful way the minor and major sevenths weave in and out of one another punctuated by altered chords in transitional phrase sections. The melody is always gorgeously lagging . And of course the occasional syncopated triplets. The B section concluding 2 measures hurries the piece back to the A verse with sixteenth and eighth note combos under a light major chord.
