I love lasers. The green light is really yellow when seen with nekkid eye. Really beautiful.

Ha ha...Could be almost....a laser lab at Montana State...up here for a bit on some projects.
The real question with lasers is whether you can set up PortaLedge to Portaledge communications... The laser beam might go all cuckoo and chip ... Big no no

I refuse to be cold in winter camping anymore...so I purchased an expedition dry down sleeping bag. A little "lofty" shall we say? It was used on an Everest expedition. I didn't ask why it was available for sale...

Reilly. The photo is from Coyhaique, where we spent 1st & last nights after flying into the regional airport at Balmaceda. Ain't nothing but an airport there, and Coyhaique is 30 miles north on good roads.
This picture tells a common story along the 200 or so kilometers of gravel down to Donini's bivy spot.
