The parish used to post the list of condemned movies on the wall of the confessional when we were in grade school;
so the last thing you saw before you went in to receive the sacrament in Sacramento was a list of dirty movies.
It's what the nuns called 'em: "Dirty movies." This was prior to the Dirty Harry series, of course,
and they likely ended up on the list when released.

My Catbird Seat allows me to view the other forum threads from a relatively safe spot. It might be termed, also, My Crow's Nest.
I call it a safe spot in the sense that I could take shots at other posters from here and snipe at that as#@&%e over there with little risk of a comeback. But I chose not to do so since that would make me a real as#@&%e;
well, I may be one about some things, I'll admit, but that's another subject.
At the same time, I detest wading into an argument on another thread which ultimately won't settle a damned thing.
So this thing we got here, this segment of the ST posting population, remains apart and maintains civility in spite of and because of my reluctance to mix it up with others in other threads.
I would like to comment, however, that it is gratifying to see that things are as "normal" as I've ever seen them on our forum. The presidential election is over and the politard thread count has dropped in synch with that activity's (temporary, unfortunately) decline.
So, hearts and flowers, all my big strong men and equally strong but smaller women. I'll keep watching and holding my tongue.
Anything that I DO comment on, it will be in a spirit of fun and even reconciliation, if called for. I take this job seriously.
Seriously.
Have a good morning, when it comes.

Don't know what made me think of that
Once when diving thirty feet
With nice girls watching
My shorts pulled off
Right when I hit the water
Once while riding drunk at night
Stood up on my bicycle seat

And face planted into the asphalt
Woke up in the morning

would you buy the same car; year and high mileage, with a few more dents?
I drove 4 Camry wagons, for 10 years.
The one that had th, body changed in 94? or so was a boat.
the -tote the kiddlets- wagon went foul when left just past the door to the basement, that I occupy's more n'more.
the car grew mold sitting in the garage.
now I've found the sister ship, of my totaled Audi rocket, it is the same car and shares 9 of 16 vin numbers
