Last minute work in San Jose means I may be at Facelift this year.
I had already booked the flight to return on Monday, but it looks like the work might be done on Thursday evening woohoo !
So, it looks like there are free sites only at Crane Flat and Tamarack. Any suggestions on which one. Any other possibles ?

who's at facelift early?
i'll be in the valley the days before facelift--have a conference & flight out thursday from SF. I'll be in Tuolumne with friends Fri-Sun (18-20) but if you want to climb Monday or Tuesday (maybe Wed.), let me know. Would love to get as much climbing in as possible.

Hi Zeta! There'll be a small group of us at Camp 4, doing whatever we can to help Ken, Katie et al with preparations. We arrive on the afternoon of the 19th, and will probably be in site 30. Some of us may have a bit of free time for some outings - come by and we can talk.
The main group arrives later on Tuesday (22nd), and will be at Yellow Pines. By the Sentinel Beach picnic area. Plus people at Crane Flat and Tamarack Flat. But they'll be working their rear ends off, starting the morning of the 23rd. Dawn to dusk, then all the great evening events.

I will be rollin in on Fri. the 18th as well.
Just look for the guy in the Westy with the go-t and glasses and an Australian Shepard named Barkley!
Should be in camp 4, Crane Flat or Tamrack.
