blitzo - if you end up having to pay for a tow, it might be cheaper to get AAA, worth checking out. the classic membership which allows a 7 mile tow costs 67 bucks.

i just had my rig towed from friggin lone pine and above to san diego fer nuttin.

Say... there sure is a distinct lack of Christians in this thread coughing up dough...

What would Jesus do?

Spoke with Blitzodity this morning. He's is forever greatful for all the support.

Blitzo currently is taking the few dollars that might be left over from the clutch job and buying lot's of ChapStick and Knee Pads so as to perform another form of "job" to say thank you.

Sincerely,
The Management

The 'Ru is nowhere near running..... it sits getting sand blasted on the Bloot driveway.

I don't call myself a Christian, and normally I would be in for a donation, but I am tap city right now. The donation meter is pegged.

Hope you make it Blitzo.

Let's here the new tally!!!

About the Christians... They cannot be reliedd upon for community services such as this.. I hear they consider this tactic as "Tough Love", and always fall back on "God helps those who help themselves...

So I would not expect any good Christian folks of conscience to be contributing to the Blitzo "Clutch-Recovery-Fund"

If i don't get an address from Fogarty today on where to send his STDC winnings, it will be donated to Blitzo.

Jingy, wrong! God helps period. That help themselves is a bunch of Crap !!! Kinda feel strongly about that false spew some spray, sorry :D God says call on me and I will answer....nothing about pulling yourself up by the bootstraps etc.

How about this. I have a clunker Blitzo could have and turn in to get $4500 toward a new car. Blitzo, would that work ? It's a cute red mercedes 400 E 1992. Good condition except I think the rings may have gone as it emits white Smoke when you step on the gas. Peace, Lynne

edit: wish I could help more but the economy has hit me like so many.....hard. Yikes, but God knows.....

Hey Lynne,

Jingy isn't wrong. He is not attacking God, he is attacking the christian church. They talk a good game, but fail to be what god called them to be, focusing more on judgement then on Love. If Jingy is wrong about that then Revelations is also wrong. What does revelations say? Something like 7 out of 8 churches have failed to be love.

Revelation, not revelations, it's singular...
Though we all have multiple revelations every day, if we pay attention.

Locker, Jess trying to help. My life is pretty darn complicated now. Trying to keep my own sanity.

I also live out in the country, am female and don't feel like I want to do test drives with unknown people.

Lynne: that is a gracious offer..... but let's do the math.....

Bloot has no money, no real job (not for the lack of trying), and credit that would make a pirate blush.....

How is he going to buy a new car? He can't get the $500 together to fix a clutch in 3 months of effort. The $4500 Obama HooptyFund™™™ just puts him into a shiny 12K debt, and that is if he could ever get a loan, which is a below zero chance.

He would be better off if you just PayPal'd him $5.00.

Jess sayin' yo.....

Some climbers are good mechanics.... Bloot don't own a screwdriver, and if he did, using it would have challenges. He is more a cerebral artist type than a make it happen this decade by going to Sears guy.

The quote "god helps those who help themselves" isn't in the new or the old testament. It may have originated in Aesop's Fables (!), and was repeated in Sidney Algernon's Discourse on Government, and by Benjamin Franklin in Poor Richard's Almanack.
http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Algernon_Sydney

(Algernon got his head chopped off, for opposing English king Charles II.)

Whatever Aesop was, he was undoubtedly not a christian. Neither was Ben Franklin - he was a deist. It doesn't seem a particularly christian sentiment.

So now I must tell Dr. F that my first real attempt at being a medium liberal was an absolute, abysmal failure.

But hey, back to "don't depend on the government" thinking. I am spending all day clearing out my house as I may be moving. If someone wants to do a garage sale I'll cart all the stuff to the Tree. Jess another wild and crazy idea. Gotta brain storm. Yah Yo !!!hehehe
