something about his users handle and
programmers heaven, is said...
:(
edit:
*did not want to put the link, or
other stuff, but you can find it...
maybe this stuff is being sold by this
person, of of a site, or through a

Neebe, its to boost their Google ratings. When search engines see lots of links pointing to a site, with key words, the Google rating goes up and that site comes up high in google searches for those key words.
RJ, how about ignoring posts with urls in the title? Some simple rules could eliminate this stuff, with little consequence for regular posters.

hey guys,
i hope i didn't offend anyone when i posted the small note about skimble.
just a bit of background, i created the skimble iphone app and website to keep track of my climbing. i developed skimble out of genuine passion for the climbing community. with my technology background, i've been inspired to innovate for this outdoor/adventure lifestyle. with the savings i had from my previous work at google, i launched this free service for other people to enjoy.
that said, supertopo is an incredible site and i have a bunch of their guidebooks! the supertopo forum is a great place to discover info about climbing and perhaps related tools & tips.
the previous post was the only time i have ever talked about skimble directly on the supertopo site...and i decided to do it to specifically share the fact that you could win climbing shoes last month because it was relevant! i mean c'mon, who doesn't like free gear?
anyway, all is in the past. this dirtbag climber is focused on climbing rocks and is off on a smith rock roadtrip! have fun guys and keep sending hard.
