BITD I did vote for Billy Jeff Clinton. Twice.

That was the last time. I'm still a registered Democrat too, believe or not. I've tried to change it to Independant, but the state never changes it despite making other change requests.

weird.

Good point, Fet.

I've been to many, many Rush shows. I agree 100% (alright 95%, some newer stuff is gayish) with RUSH!!!

I was just catching up on my Jon Stewart backlog, and saw his piece on CPAC:

This is the smoldering, rotting remains of the GOP. Do you see any 'good news for the conservatives' here? Me neither.

They can hope Obama fails, and he might: he's got an awfully full plate.

But that's about it.

I'm curious what all you liberals and Democrat supporters have to say about 'e-Verify' and this vote.

This is why it's needed

bump, because I'm still curious who has the courage to address my last question in post#200.

I'm not trying to bash D's here, just pointing out that they're just as worthy of you 'Bush Derangement Syndrome' as the people you constantly criticise.

"It's all Bush's fault!", Obama is just cleaning up Bush's mess.

They are close to their neo-Marxist agenda...the playbook is astoundingly obvious. Do you schmucks really think that because you're a registered "d" you'll gain favoritism?

When they came for the Jews, I said nothing because I was not a Jew.....

I even wonder if you guys will admit to his lie that he would personally look through each bill for earmarks and point out the people who added them. Now earmarks are 'okay' if they're your kind of earmarks.

F*#king liar! How long did it take for him to betray his word? What next?

Edit: I just watched the lesbo Rachel Maddow on MSNBC a while ago and McCain's daughter could be a moderate voice for new conservatives. WHat will we call ourselves...nuvo-cons?

with the rest of your crazy Nazis
your side is promoting pure propaganda on what is bad, vs. what is good

You are on the wrong side of the fence
give it up before its too late

See, this is why I refer to you as the lunatic. Honestly, that's a misnomer. Brainwashed, ideologue, or partisan would be more appropriate in descendeing order.

You're irrationally partisan, just as you clain the 'Nazi' Repubs to be.

Relax and talk like you were looking at me, where we were side by side.

Seriously. You come off as very ignorant and partisan.

Let me guess--the lesbo Rachel Maddow also talked about the negro Barack Obama.

Edit: excuse me, magic negro Barack Obama.

No, db, not really. I was actually proud 'the lesbo' Rachel (just to piss you off hopefully) had the discussion. I was shocked! Serious. But it appeared that Rachel was trying to use her to make the 'nuvo-cons' seem liberal. She (Rachel the lesbo) seemed to like provoking distance too with the girls' father. I'm only surprised by her chpoice to have a McCain on. I'll give that lesbo more respect in the future.

hehe

EDIT: Ron Paul aint bad, but he has weird baggage....

Do you libs have anything to say about E-Verify? The vote?

Obama's sudden like for earmarks and their merits?

Change you can believe in. If you are a do-good sucker!

Noshoes, yeah, I agree. Paul would prolly get us 'adjusted', but it's hard to achieve.

Ron Paul has some very fine ideas. But a couple are just weird but still worthy of his consideration as a leader with moderation.

Regarding yesterday's budget vote and the 9,000 earmarks, this is yet another sh*tpot that GWB left for his successor (i.e. unending war, economic collapse) that the GOP has turned around in the media to somehow be of Obama's creation and responsibility. What's really surprising is how easy it was to do- plenty of GOP kool-aid drinkers are right there playing 'gotcha' with the earmark issue, nevermind the fact that this omnibus bill was created by their idiot POTUS & congressional leadership months ago, and if McLame had won, they would be currently defending every one of those earmarks.

As entertaining as it has been for the last of the GOP to throw this in the face of Obama, it would have been at least as entertaining to watch McSame deal with the same bill- I'd bet a jelly-filled donut that Mr. Anti-Earmarks would have done the same thing. Thankfully, we won't ever know.

Having said this, some of the qualifiers that I heard Obama make about how some earmarks are useful and necessary (while deserving better scrutiny) were a bit disconcerting. He has pledged to announce a strategy for dealing with future bills and defining acceptable earmarks- we'll just have to see if it really is different, or becomes more of the same. In any case, yesterday's bill was last year's business. Time to move forward.

Edit re: Bluering's comment:
"I even wonder if you guys will admit to his lie that he would personally look through each bill for earmarks and point out the people who added them. Now earmarks are 'okay' if they're your kind of earmarks."

Bluering, as egregious as the practice of earmarks can be, it is a part of the political process- always has, always will be. One's panties tend to get in a twist about this issue when the earmarks or pork are blatantly wasteful, or if they don't serve your own interest. This is highly subjective- just like pork, one man's wasteful earmark is another man's source of income for his family.
