Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows speaks of Lord Voldemort's return - personally I'm not impressed by either book's veracity, though I do believe Lord Voldemort's return is far more imminent than Jesus'...

Apparently HE's finally arrived. Landed in Texas yesterday, I believe, though the government's currently trying to keep it a secret. They claim what the public saw as a chariot across the sky was simply a meteor. Sean Hannity has already gotten to the bottom of the whole thing and will interview the son of man on Tuesday. It's all over Fox news. Promises to be quite a story. Sean says the liberals are all good as dead! Looks like the lord chose Texas because they have so many rattlesnakes and Pentecostals there. Also, Bush resides there and, of course, he has a swimming pool.

Karl...Yes I am very much sincere and concern for people. As for fire and brimstone, that sounds really scarry I can't even fathom the thought how GOD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah raining down fire and brimstone, he destroyed the entire city because of sin and homosexuality. GOD doesn't play games. Look at all the natural disasters that happens and the many people that get killed, as a strong beliver in CHRIST you realize that it's GOD'S wrath... The bible says to fear GOD... I fear GOD...
Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. And the way of the wise is, "Morality, Integrity and Fear of GOD."
You know Karl it's not GOD'S desire for anybody to go to hell were it will be for eternity. The fire the brimstone, the torment of your soul.. "HEll is a place of unrelieved torment and horrible misery...a place of impenetrable darkness...a place of fire...a place of unrelieved torment for both body and soul. Hell will be horrible for everybody there, but some people will suffer more than others.-John MacArthur."
I think that people should really open there hearts from the hardness of wickedness and open up the minds and there eyes to see that the Bible speaks the truth of events that became of pass and of things to come...
As for being a Christian my love for all is stong and my heart goes out to everybody, it goes out to people that I don't even know. But know this I share the same passion with you people and that is climbing rock. I have been a climber for 12 years and I still think that the most beautiful place to climb is Yosemite. And you know GOD created that beautiful place.
Also Karl I speak of CHRIST with love and compassion to all that reads this topic of the return of CHRIST... The harsh and blasphemous remarks are forgiving by me, but know this GOD is using me to speak of him and spread the word of CHRIST JESUS'S return and to be ready. So those who speak blasphemy to me is really speaking blasphemy to GOD! But remember GOD forgives all and he loves you. GOD is a patience GOD, but one day his patiences is going to run out and CHRIST wil return like a theif in the night and those left behind it will be to late.
JESUS tells us that there is coming a day when he will return. He will come quickly for all of his people and we will be taken to be with him in heaven.
If you are a Christian you will go immediately into the presence of GOD. But if you are not a Christian, and by that I mean if you have not asked JESUS CHRIST to come into your heart and be your SAVIOR and LORD, the you will be left. Don't let that happen to you. It can happen so quickly.
I read that archaeologists uncovered extrodinary ruins in the town of Herculaneum, which is close to the ancient city of Pompeii. In 79 A.D., the violent volcano Versuvius erupted there so suddenly, so quickly, that the scientist that found people literally frozen in time. They uncovered Roman solders with swords in hand who had been killed instantly.
Think about that. Theses solders didn't even know what was about to happen. Then boom! Dead in their tracks.
Thats how quickly the lORD'S return could be. Suddenly, JESUS will return.

And as for Hitler and Stalin...I'm not here to talk about World War 2 history... But I will say this the atrocities that were commited against people, that was pure evil the works of satan using people like hitler to kill and destroy Jews.Satan uses people to commit vicious acts and he causes people to betray and decive one another. As a matter of fact hiter was a Roman Catholic and he even had Jewish blood in his veins. Satan uses religion. Don't underestimate satan. He is a master deciver.

As for using scripture Karl...It is something that I and many other Christians use.It has to do with taking up "The Whole Armor of God!" The book of Ephesians gives insight into the nature of spiritual warfare, we as Christians face daily. Our combat is against forces, not men or women. Great is the protection and resources GOD has provided us as Christians to meet the enemy. It's spiritual armor GOD supples.
"Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the sheild of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the*word of GOD; Ephsians 6:14-17."
So Karl that is why I use scripture. I not only use scripture but the HOLY SPIRIT is in me... You see only when you have faith and love for CHRIST you will understand these things that are very difficult to a person that does not have CHRIST in there heart.
As for the Apostle Paul (Saul of Tarsus) yes he hunted Christians had them arrested and was even there when the Apostle Stephan was stoned, he was to be the first Apostle to be Martyred in the name of CHRIST. The LORD choose Paul to preach the word. Jesus even said unto him. "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? And Saul said, "Who are You LORD?" Then the LORD said, "I am JESUS, whom you are persecuting."he replied."Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." Acts 9:4-5
The apostle Paul said, "One thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead... Philippians 3:13
You see GOD forgives. He even forgave Paul... GOD uses people to spead his word. People that are poor, people that are uneducated and people that are weak... If that is GOD'S plan he will guide you and make you strong!
Trust me I preach nothing false about the LORD... GOD is using me to spread the word...Degree or no degree. Educated of the Bible or not...I speak strong and stand stong with the true word of GOD!
Yes Karl I do know the LORD, I have a personal relationship with him. He is there for me always. Even when I didn't have him in my heart he was there for me... Run out on a climb scarred to death 80 foot fall, for sure death. But I prayed to GOD to help me. And you know the LORD did. That was 8 years ago.

As for the Bible, it is the word of GOD! It is our owners manual it is giving to us by GOD...

What could possibly make you think that Christianity is somehow any different than all of those other "false" religions?
Just because you're not smart enough to see the bigger picture doesn't give you the right to insult others.
All of those "false" religions are just as credible as Christianity. And all of their followers are just as entitled to their beliefs as you are.

Some of the most honest, kind, down to earth people I have ever met.

andanother...You know if you read what I said about the masonic religion in comparison with Christianity it is what GOD warns us about. "Thou shall have no other gods before me." Buy choosing a religion that doesn't follow the ways of the LORD CHRIST JESUS and folowing his commandments is dangerous territory. The Freemasons, you mean, Apostle? Their gripe was with the Catholic and Anglican churchies' throttlehold on human freedom. So, yeah, they were devils as far as any theocracy was concerned. And Baal came before Baphomet, technically.

Karl, good post and quite accurate in that it is the Love of God
that leads us to a new scene, new thoughts, and a new way of
relating to God and those around us.
Apostle is correct also in that God does lay it out in rather plain and
simple terms. Essentially He says, here is the way, walk in it.
And He gives us a glimpse of the benies of walking in it, as
well as the challenges/difficulties that await us when we decide
once again that we know better than the God of all creation.
Mankind seems to be continually hell-bent to have it our way.
Checking the CNN this morning tells me that something is really
out of wack, has been for a long time.
The Love of God is represented well by the love a parent has for
his children, educating them in what is good, right, kind, etc. A
parent hopes his children will pursue the good in life, but the child
has to accept what they know to be true, and chose to apply this in
their life. NO ONE, not even God Himself can force a person to seek the
Truth as it is not in His nature, He only encourages us to follow.

The full text of Exodus 20: 4-5 reads as follows:

So you mean to tell me that this all powerful guy, who knows how many hairs there are on your head, can create an entire planet and highly evolved species in 6 days, part oceans for your hippie brethren to escape through and inspire such loving devotion that people bomb abortion clinics in his name cannot simply remove the human impulse to covet, worship or otherwise take a liking to things that might be cooler than he is?
And where does that fat lump of choss get off punishing ME for what what my Grandfather three generations removed did???
