I would so love to say something here; but it would just stir up the hornets nest, so I will show discretion which is the better part of valor and let it go.

sometimes it's better to just put your two cents back in your pocket.

There ain't no stalking here. Just plain trolling. Some of it not very sophisticated but it works, up to a point. HK needs to take some trolling lessons from Werner.

Norweigan, glad I'm not on the sharp end today, hehe. "hornets nest, discretion....valor...

your "two cents" remark was funny !

I second Nita's remark !

OK - I'm almost done compiling and composing the Mother of All SuperTopo Summaries ™ ™ ™ ™.

You will KNOTT be disappointed!

Then, and ONLY THEN will it be put to rest.

Peace to All.

This cannot be considered stalking. Stalking takes place during the hunt.

There's nothing to "interpret". Our posts will be presented in real-time, in FULL CONTEXT, going back to Jan 1 2008.

Any questions?

Uhh, PTPP took off to go climbing––AWAY FROM THE INTERNET––and said as much.

Please try to pay attention.

i will say i've decided against going to the facelift. it's one thing when people
don't like your online posts, but the level of toxicity from so many people is
amazing, and i don't think it's fair.

don't feel like spending my time and money going into a situation where i know
that people harbor super negative preconceptions about me. that's lame.

Oh, boo-hoo.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this place is about fun and entertainment.
NOTHING should be taken too seriously (I'm an exception because of my OCD).

If that's really the way you feel, and you're not just being a drama queen, then you
should seriously consider stepping away from the computer...

I think you should go to Facelift - you will have a lot of fun, most especially knowing
that I (the creepy older-man stalker™ ™ ™ ™ himself) will KNOTT be there...

Peace to all.

Maybe I'm old school, not in the climbing sense (though I like that approach) but in how I try to treat people. I just can't see picking on a young lady. No matter how much she might seamingly deserve it based on some of the things she has said.

If anyone should understand off the wall personalities and weirdness it should be climbers. What I've generally noted about climbers, real climbers pre sport, pre internet, pre spray, is that no matter what your mental state or physical ability there was a level of acceptance. Certainly some groups were, and are, terratorial, but by and large if I journeyed to a cliff odds were good I'd be swapping tr's and leads with complete strangers.

Does this young lady have some issues, it sure seams like it. Does she spout off some stuff that makes us shake our heads, ah yup.

But, then again how many of us have our own issues? How many spout off in ways that have many of us shaking our heads?

If the old crusty hard men have the right to spout off, you have to extend the same right to those just getting into the sport. The upside of an open forum is you can spout off at will. The downside is everyone else can as well.

If tr/ss needs to take a break from posting emotional outbursts, and it might do her well to do so, then her legions of protesters would do well to take a stong dose of STFU. You guys don't come across as the saviours of SuperTopo, you come across as azzes that have as many if not more issues you should be tending to.

Another creapy old man, who has a slightly different view.

I have never seen t*r write anything that is deserving of this bullsh#t. While I have often scratched my head at some of the things she has written, most of those things have simply seemed - sorry t*r - flakey. Some women use that as a manner of interacting, especially amongst men, and though it is way far from my style, it certainly doesn't seem anything I would consider dangerous enough to be lambasted as has been done with this thread.

Christ, fattie and his constant barrage of "I could be running the country" bullshit has a MUCH higher annoyance factor in my mind.

I DID notice that she made some remarks in the last few weeks that seemed strangely hostile and coming from out of the blue. But it is an extremely small fraction of her postings.

I cannot imagine that i will have an "ohhhh, I see" moment when HK unveils his "This is serious(although he feels nothing on this forum should be taken seriously)" list. I will withold making real judgement until seeing that, but at this point I am feeling that HK, and some others who have been on this thread, are pretty uncool.

Bravo darling! Mae West when confronted with her critics said it best. "I would rather be controversial than boring."
