Standing Strong, I drink water every day, but I am not addicted to it. Too much pc on how we eat and drink. You are young, don't believe everything you hear...think for yourself. Check your body out and how it responds to things. Check your elders out to see how their bodies have responded to things.

Coffee addiction....well I can drink 2-8 cups in the am, but if it's not there, oh well. No problems.

Being in the health care profession I see the pc funded studies that first prove something is good for you, then bad for you, then good for you.....What a bunch of .....well let's use the word TRIPE since I'm not into swearing.

Use your head and common sense SS and you'll do well in life.

Smiles, Lynnie

have a hard time believing you can quit drinking that much caffiene, cold turkey, and have no withdrawal.

Ouch, I will put the best construction on the situation. Maybe Locker left town for North to go climbing. I'm sure he'll get in touch when he gets back.

I just about have my peeps (that's hollywood for "your people")
convinced that the picture was posted by a weird Taco wannabe so I think I'm good to go for the J.Tree climb, BBQ, sports of all kind weekend.

Blitzo, how come in all the Locker pics I see he has this weird long hair, but the pic you posted he has a crew cut ?

Beer is vegan.

Coffee is vegan (no matter how you "consume" it).

So what's the problem?

What's interesting is that when I do a cleanse I find it 100 times harder to stop drinking coffee than beer/alcohol. Of course I sorta solved that problem to a point... ain't that right, Locker?

Well, Standing Strong, I totally tell the truth. So, I love coffee but if it's not there for me then I just don't drink it. I drink juice every am when avaliable.

I like Pacificos, and white wine. I guess my biggest challenge in the last 6 months was to cut out a good deal of white wine cause I really wanted to get in shape and get rid of my tire. (s)

It happened. But I still want to cut more alcohol out. My motivation came from a really hard personal turn in my life.

Standing Strong, life is about moderation, don't give up all the good stuff trying to be green and pc. Enjoy in moderation the things you like.

In our elderly patients, the vegan types and the moderation types seemed to last about the same on this planet.

I read your sad heart thread several times. I have alot to say, maybe I'll email you if you want me to. Peace and Joy, Lynne

HAHAHHAAAA

This thread has taken a turn!!! For the worst!!!

Pretty funny. Keep up the pictures! I can never get enough of those.

Lynne - Nothing to be embarrassed about. If Nature does it for you, more power to ya. So you follow Nature like a Hawk.... Other than Me and Russ.... Who doesn't?

He's told me he gets his fish from some far out places.... tells me he knows what part of the ocean, what the boat name was and the number of hands that have touched the fish....

I don't know about you, but I think he's had a little too much mercury myself!

Cheers Nature, hope to see you at the facelift.

I'm never far... often lurking, sometimes posting. Digging out some Ouch! cartoons is always fun.

Edit: I do wish I could find the Hand of God/Werner cartoon for the Darwin thread though...

But you know who you are AND because you do you don't give a rip whether your name appears or not....cause you know who you are...and that's why you are so special.

There is a reason for that. Every cartoon posted on this thread by me is from Ouch!.

I should go back and be sure to give credit.

SS, for some reason I haven't drank coffee in a month, no withdrawl, but I never had withdrawl when I quit heroine either.

Most vegans that I know drink booze, smoke dope, snort cocaine, smoke salvia divinorum, eat schrooms, take acid, smoke cigarettes, drink coffee and have suede on their climbing shoes.

WTF!!!
