Loving the photos and stories everyone,
Thanks for the encouragement re:photo posts.
However,
Did you ever get the feeling the world is a
tuxedo, and you're a pair of brown shoes?

Are you trying to say your photos don't fit?
If so, disabuse yourself of this notion and post
more of your pics!!!
If that's not what you mean...
enlighten me, please.

Nah, Scruff,
just lamenting how I kind of
missed the boat...started climbing
late in life, and seeing all these
greats on this and other threads...
thats all, no biggie
Take it easy.

Yeah, Joey, I can relate. Not the started late in life aspect,
exactly, but more like Why didn't I just dive in, instead of just
dabbing my toe from time to time.
Anyway...got more pictures?

I think Joe Metz took this one. The rope leads up from the belayer to me, but I'm barely visible in the photo. I think 2 or 3 other climbers can be seen as well.

A really tough season to let come to an end. I really wanted to go this weekend but it looks like snow.

And when they close the pass for snow in October like they just did, that could be it for the season.

...which was partly what inspired me to start the thread: you know, waving the fair ship off on the seasonal journey and giving thanks for our time aboard thus far. Of course, she'll come back 'round.

Plus, with a handle like that you are fully qualified to help out with the heavy lifting.
