It's impossible for someone to simply hold an opposing opinion.
They have to have something wrong with them. They're ignorant. Or they're blind. Or evil. Or bigots. Or out of touch. Or cowards.
Anything but face up to the fact that reasonable people may disagree on things.

Faced with another Obamakin, or god forbid the Hildabeast, people would just as soon vote for Bozo The Clown, Locker. That is, if he wasn't a denizen of the forbidden city-Washington D.C. You guys on the progressive side have been suckered by this promise of a permanent Dem demographic.

Why would a billionaire malignant narcissist want to be puppet president? He wouldn't.
He's become a scripted sideshow distraction. To what end we can only guess but there's not a serious interest there IMO...

He is arrogant enough to believe that he can control things. Being president is the ultimate power trip. Lots of guys have billions. But in any year, there is only one current president. Trump is a big time power tripper and one of his biggest power trips is image. The president of the United States still carries with it the image of the most powerful man in the world, no matter what is going on behind the scenes.
There probably isn't anyone who is in to power who wouldn't take the call of the president, so Trump, in his arrogance, believes that with access, he can can convince anyone of anything. Money gets him a lot of access, but there are still people richer then he is. So with the presidency, he now has access to anyone he wants.
its all about arrogance.

But therein lies the rub....
The president has no power except that which is granted to him by power of the narrative he's handed. Look at the current puppet in chief. I actually believe he might have been a decent person at one point. Maybe he even believed his own BS when campaigning.
Trump's gotta see that anyone who rocks that boat is either discredited or dead...
Trump's all about trump. This is perfect propaganda for his own ego. Actually taking the position is a different matter entirely.

It would be a landslide against sanders. A tougher fight against Clinton, but he would still win.

^^ That is an interesting question.. Bernie has no chance to get the Dem nomination. It will be Miss Status Quo ..Clinton Vs. whatever
Today? Hard to say.. in another four years demographics will make the current version of the republican party absolutely a moot point(if it already hasn't) regardless their efforts on poll restrictions ...stemming an overwhelming tide has its limits.. ... but this year is maybe their last gasp ..

Yeah I'm fine with rude ,crude ,uncouth whatever (especially if it is an act with some real intellect behind it) Lincoln was like that...Hell.. Ben Franklin was a master of that act and pulled off one of the greatest diplomatic coups in world history....Negotiating total victory w/o conditons vs the Brits after cessation and without giving our French ass savers a damn thing either...Our little ragtag army walked away with a continent (well the start of one anyway)..free and clear.
gdamn brilliant and near impossible to imagine.
However I'm not fine with fascist evil cowardly scapegoating racist sh#t.
