If Stewart is right, then ISIS had every right in the world to murder all those people in France.
Only if you can't hold more than one relatively simple thought in your mind at once.

I have a feral hog problem. If I don't shoot them I have more hogs. When I shoot them I keep the numbers in check. They get skittish and harder to find but always there.
Not sure what this story means, just trying to think through the situation at my level.

Sounded better when Adolph said it. I'm interested in what your "Final Solution" looks like.

You can bet there will be a final solution in Europe.
Neonazis or Islamonazis, that train has already left the station.
The only question is who will survive.

Has anyone else here noted the massive influx of Muslims into Central Europe? I was in Munich a little over a year ago, and my hotel was swarming with burka clad females, each surrounded by a pack of little potential fanatics. The Merkel government seems to have a very muted response; maybe she should "listen up" to what's happening in France? Hungary and Austria are responding by building fences to keep the hordes out, and divert them to Germany.
Over 50 years ago, I recall the problem in France came from "Moroccans and Algerians" committing acts of terrorism, failing at that time to call them Fundamentalist Muslim Terrorists. This isn't a Bush-Cheney phenomenon, not a Carter or Reagan problem, but a very basic fact that Islam seeks domination through "conversion by the sword," in which they have plenty of history in attempting establishment of the Caliphate. At some point, Europe must again unite and deport all the MFs back to herding camels and fukking goats in the deserts of North Africa.
Does anyone have sufficient political will and a spine to back it up in order to stop what is truly an invasion against our Western European based culture? It seems that the present resident of the WH on Pennsylvania Avenue lacks the will to do so... Sad but true.

I'm sure that happened in a total vacuum.

Spineless one--it certainly evoked a response in France, when the Legion Etranger was sent to deal with the problem. That's the proper name for Foreign Legion.

Even those who try to avoid violence are likely to find the utterly clear moral certainty associated with rage following events like this.

Not if, but when, military force is used against these human bombers and self styled Islamic heroes, their mantra would be best stated by some of the guys I served with: "Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out."
Of course, it was the Satanic Rock Concert that set them off this time; the girls weren't veiled or wearing Burkas, short skits, and probably all drinking alcohol. Blasphemous behavior in the eyes of Allah, of course.

I can only hope that any French retaliation for today's crimes actually hits the correct targets. The US response to 9/11 provides a superb example of what not to do when consumed by moral "certainty".

Hey Brokendown, the 13th Demi Brigade is on alert and standing by for full deployment to unknown targets in the "region" from an email I just received from a shipmate still in the know.
Appears the President of France has had enough and is on the rampage after seeing for himself the aftermath of the slaughter in the Concert Hall.
We are at War without Pity! François Hollande 3 hours ago
This is going to get interesting really really fast. The 13th Demi of the FFL does NOT fk around when given the order to go kick some azz.

Chaz: You ignorant sparrowfart. What on earth gave you the idea that I felt that ISIS had the right to kill ANYONE? What I repeatedly attempted to point out was that the U.S. has royally screwed up the entire Mid-East, and has done 100% of nothing to prevent the kind of alienation in that part of the world that attracts people to murder cults like ISIS.
And you, Chief - I guess you are a brain-damaged robot. You asserted that caliphates have been around since 620AD. Perhaps you could explain what ISIS has been doing since back then... I had the impression that they crawled out of the shadows in the 21st century (AD).
Anyone with an atom of decency in their souls is appalled, disgusted, and enraged that these verminous murderers are members of the same species as the rest of us.
Am I making myself clear?

Nope. You're a total moron.
You asserted that caliphates have been around since 620AD. Perhaps you could explain what ISIS has been doing since back then...
Do you even know what a "caliphate" is? Apparently not.
The term caliph (/ˈkeɪlɪf, ˈkælɪf/), derives from the Arabic word khalīfah (خَليفة, About this sound pronunciation (help·info)), which means "successor", "steward", or "deputy" and has traditionally been considered a shortening of either the term khalifat Allah ("successor to God") or khalifat rasul Allah ("successor of the messenger of God]"). However, studies of pre-Islamic texts suggest that the original meaning of the phrase was "successor selected by God."
Keep trying, stews.
Oh, btw, these ISIS doods have NOTHING to do with GWB or Cheney. Nothing.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's group the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant declared its governmental structure a 'caliphate' on June 29, 2014 after taking control of large swathes of territory in Syria (which for a prolonged period of time comprised over 50% of that country) and Iraq. Nevertheless, it is known by much of the Muslim world and Muslim scholars to be a illegitimate caliphate within the basis of Islam.
ISIS, the group, was founded in 1999 by Jordanian radical Abu Musab al-Zarqawi as Jamāʻat al-Tawḥīd wa-al-Jihād, "The Organisation of Monotheism and Jihad" (JTJ)
