Currently agonizing about the gift. Researching the person's posts to learn more about them. Now to scroll through last year's thread to see if they posted anything there.....

Woot!
"w00t" was originally an truncated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.
Huh! I did not know that! Learn something new every day...
Luckily, I didn't have to do any research this year - I know my recipient and am already making a very appropriate gift.
Easy peasy.

My giftee is a real puzzle. Only has a few brief posts on the taco, so hard to get a handle on the right gift.

I share your pain. My giftee is a classy frequent poster of compassionate and intelligent comments. So unlike me that it is hard to get a handle on the right gift.

Research shows what NOT to get my giftee. Made a decision, customization is in process. Santa's elves better work fast.

My local POs were closed today. Did not know they are now closed on Saturday. Tried to use the self service machine in the lobby but it choked on the difficult street address. Bummer.

Ha! John has a foreigner!

I have just figured out what to give. Not much clue from posts, so have to use my imagination.

Just got my ST Secret Santa gift in the mail today! I always let my daughter open packages because she thinks everything that comes to the house is a present for her. Well good call on this one. Secret Santa brought us a "Best Hikes with Kids in Washington" book. Awesome!
Some of the hikes we already did this past year (she is good for about 3-4 miles round trip) but there are about 180 more that we haven't in this book!
I also just noticed that one of the hikes in the book is right by where my daughter Sierra picked out the Christmas tree in the background of this picture!
Thank you Santa!!! We love it!

Not quite "all-out" Ms. Lynnie.......hehehe. Leisurely seeking, as it were.......it's more my style.
