In the beautiful Wicklow mountains of Ireland, local farmers are allowed grazing rights on military property, provided all livestock are removed prior to certain pre-designated live-firing days. On one of those days, my battalion was surprised to see a much less beat up than usual vehicle in the firing zone but we followed orders and engaged that target with 84mm recoiless rifles.

Apparently some farmer hadn't checked his calendar properly...luckily for him (and us), he wasn't in his truck.

No conspiracy, no NWO, no Stalinist or fascist plot, just some idiot farmer who couldn't follow some simple rules to keep his freebies coming. Same story here.

When the Newworldorder bot raved about what we will lose, I remembered Republican VP's Dan Quail's similar thoughts:

when he addressed the United Negro College Fund, whose slogan is "A mind is a terrible thing to waste," and said, "You take the UNCF model that what a waste it is to lose one's mind or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is."[14][15]

This is going to get interesting. There are already militia members there. They say more are on their way.

This thing needs to de-escalate, with the gov't concession that maybe we shouldn't be charging people to graze on land at the expense of a silly tortoise.

I'm happy to have cameras on scene. Prolly the only thing that kept this from going 'Ruby'.

Do you know how many cattle graze on public lands for free?

Why is this land costed?

EDIT: The tortoise is fine, much like the Peregrine Falcon. It's an excuse. Not preservation.

Sagebrush rebels are due some respect, even though they are sometimes idiots. Amusing to watch. I'd like to be a fly on the kitchen wall during morning coffee at Bundy's.

Do you think the same fuzziness might exist between "Terrorists" and "Militiamen"?

So, we're equating head-chopping terrorists with defenders of Bill of Rights?

Nobody has fired a shot. They are simply defending a mans right to his lands that he has always used, prior to 1993 and 1998.

He is in no-compliance of the law though...but they need to stand down.

Needs to go to Fed Court, and then the Supremes.

"They" don't own the land either . . . f*#k them too.

It is a no win situation . . . the karma of Manifest Destiny . . . destined to fail. You cannot win with arrogance, greed and egotism.

Bruce, they are DARING the Feds to fire a shot.

This is why it needs to be down-sized. Get the Feds out. Go to court.

DO NOT SHOW UP WITH GUNS! People don't like that in America.

A friend posted this informative link on FB. It is pretty middle of the road on this rather stupid and way overblown news item.

BLM is wrong in this case.

Period

Wrong all kinds of ways. Both in purpose and in execution.

I think you folks have no idea how serious folks here are about this one.
