He never did, not that I can recall.
As for the Ron-haters? Whatever, you guys just dislike his opinions and can't tolerate views that are counter to yours. Haters gonna hate....

Say it ain't so, Joe! One of my favorite posters reduced to using new pseudonyms. One of the wonderful things about a few days off is the ability to be in the mountains rather than merely read about them. I take a few days off from ST and it seems all hell broke loose.
I only know Joe from the internet, but considering the entire package of what I read, I greatly appreciate his presence here. So he has faults. Find me someone here who doesn't.
If he violated ST's terms of use, I guess there's little reason to complain, but it doesn't mean I won't miss his comments.
And of course this place is an insane asylum, but it's an asylum of intelligent nutcases. We are, after all, climbers.

I do understand also that some would perceive me to be as irrational as I claim he was.
A man has to understand his limitations, in the words of an awesome actor. I know where I stand, and I understand why people collide with me.
I just don't post pics of naked chix that some other Tacohead thought was 'art'. No offense to Bullwinkle.

Really love you all ...and I do mean everyone ...it's really been great . The folks I disagree with the most I still consider my friends and look forward to climbing with and spending time with many of you still ..
I consider folks like Russ Walling to be solid gold and I don't give a damn about politics as it relates to what kind of human being someone is ... Bunch of f*#king bullshit when it comes down to it.
I really like Ron, Jhedge, Fatrad and of course Crowley no matter what has been said online.
That said my time here is over .
I find most of the comments I want to make here are negative, for some reason, which is the exact opposite of who I am in every other area of my life.
Facebook for me now contains many old and new friends, family and climbers and the shared interests and conversations are stimulating, polite and engaging.
And if it does get rude I just block the person..
I'm forever grateful to ST for allowing me to get to know the greater climbing world and to learn so much.
