As I have written before: Following https://twitter.com/20committee and those he is hanging with gives you some very good information on the specifics of these latest escapades.
To note: the man behind 20 Committee is a Conservative, who has worked in National Security. His opinions and vantage point place him in a unique position to parse the massive coverage being fed us through various media channels.
Last night he posted "I am confident that, in the end, the Republic & our democracy will prevail and the Kremlin-linked traitors will get their rightful fate."
Take that as you will, but I see it as an indication that unless the so-far bumbling Trump group has been playing stupid all along, they are toast. We will see, of course. Could go any which way.

The people trying to bring down the Trump presidency hate their country. Holy crap Jody, of all the stupid things you've posted on this site, I have to believe that's the stupidest by far. Tragic really. You have no understanding of the democracy you live in. You can't love your country and defend that fascist. Given what's he's done so far, and what he aims on doing, if you still defend him you are nothing less than an accomplice. We hate Trump because we LOVE our country. Trump is not the nation; he is a malignant dictator that other mindless fools were careless to elect in the first place.

Jody, I am being earnest, but I am not hysterical. I am not hiding behind a facade of humor. I ask you to come to the table and put your real fears and hopes out there. The worst that can happen is people will make fun of you, but if you have the conviction of your thoughts and feelings, that can't hurt you at all.
Edit: Looks like you are taking as step in that direction with post above this one... Please respond to the points I raised and help me see how that is rational, and in our country's interest, from your perspective.

Still waiting for Obama's Martial Law order. When is that due?
Where are all those death panels? 20 Million gained insurance, which on the whole has been a great positive result. No death panels in sight so far...
How about the huge gun round ups that were coming ANY DAY? Still waiting. Mentally ill lost access briefly, but that is now reversed (was Trump afraid he would be excluded?).
I could go on. The shrillness of the right for the previous 8 years leaves no moral high ground to complain about the current round or outrage and protest from the left. At least the current outrage is mostly based on actual orders and proposed legislation, not mythical birth certificates and Info Wars conspiracy theories dreamed up by red faced spittle spewers off their meds.

I've been to three protests since the innaugatation.
At the last one, protestors were given American flags, I've yet to see kooks with black masks at any of them, and no one was paid to be there.

A population is not defined by an individual, and a crowd of protesters is made of many elements. The vast majority of them- just like the vast majority of humans- are peaceful people who want a better world for themselves and the people around them. Any public gathering is a target for anarchist/destructive/thoughtless angry people. If you are an anarchist/destructive/thoughtless person, it is hard to organize your own gatherings to promote your agenda ;) Like those kids who suck at making sand castles but have fun tearing down the ones that others make.
The real vindictive, ugly, thoughtful acts come in when people with specific political agendas use these thugs to distract from a group of normally non-political people who are moved to rise up and take a peaceful stand against a government not representing their values. Or when media outlets promote sensational news stories to make headlines and collect ad revenue when it is misleading and undermining our democracy.
