Great list, but you guys should disown Celine Dion. Tell people she's, like, from Greenland or something.

I'm gonna nominate the Newfie mechanic who was preparing my bro-in-law's
plane in St John's last week. Departure time was fast approaching and Andrew
was getting worried so he went out on the ramp to try and light a fire under
them. The one guy was on a step ladder holding the 18" flex duct from the
Herman Nelson heater in the engine inlet. Andrew walked up to the guy and
asked him why it appeared there was nothing coming out of the duct when it
should have been roaring. The guy replied "It is kind of intermittent."
Andrew walks the 30' over to the still roaring Herman Nelson and sees why it
is 'intermittent'. The duct had come loose from the heater and the guy
had been heating Newfoundland for how long?

So, does Robert W. Service qualify? He might have been Scott, but he was Canadian from 21 to 40 and his most famous work is about Canada.

Don't forget The Band. Everyone in that group, other than Levon Helm, was a Canadian. Also there's Danielle Lawry, the most bad-ass women's softball pitcher to ever play at the University of Washington or in the NCAA. Also my grandfather was a Canadian and a world class story-teller, which is the polite way of describing him.
