I led a few pitches of 5.6/5.7 on east buttress on mt. whitney I don't mind doing the classic climbs, they are good climbs.
You have IQ of a door knob, butters. In fact this year out of all the technical routes in Sierra you did (like 2), both were in ST guidebook dummy.

Nah, I did way more than 2 sierra routes. Last time I counted it was grand total of 7, and only 1 of those was a 5.7 (east buttress). I am not sure how 7 is 2 routes. There are other technical routes that were completed in Washington and Arizona during this same past summer we are both talking about. And even then, I wish I had done more.
What I am saying is that technical routes is not ALL I do, but I definitely enjoy doing them as there are some great climbs out there. Meeting more climbers is always a good thing.

Leggs I know, I know. But some of us are kind of laid up (pun, while phunny, was not intended) at the moment and enjoying the view. And you do have some world class LEGGS. :-)
