Although, Klimmer,
While idealistically I agree that a legit investigation would be a good thing, do you really think that the American people as a whole, the MTV watching crowds can really handle the whole truth about anything?
Sometimes it is best not to know how sausage is made and while there are some who could withstand it and be able to function, I think that most people would be really messed up if they knew half of what is covered up. Sort of like parents not fighting in front of the kids.

I understand the concerns, yes.
But I think that people are ultimately resilient. The truth will set you free. At first they will be depressed and ultimately saddened by the truth and perhaps shocked, but they will recover. I did.
So many of us have gone through this process now. I am better for it. I know the truth. I am now very skeptical of anything the US does in my name. I have my eyes wide open. I do not want to be ever dupped like this again.
I now know the evil they are capable of. Knowledge is power.

Perhaps I should have said 15 cabinet fulls per year of digital records on each US citizen. That is what I meant. They mention this in the NOVA program near the end.

Hey Skip, I would be curious to know if you think the US has ever done anything wrong?

86 different security cameras aimed at the pentagon.
Nobody gets to see the footage except one stupid bullsh'it video of a few edited frames.

To not seek the truth in fear of hurting or scaring the population is absurd. If your looking for such blissful apathy, take your daily dose of soma and booze. Other nations are not so lucky to turn the other cheek and forget about the effects. Ask legless mothers in Iraq, indigenous tribes of the amazon, or refugees in Africa how much pain is brought to them by us foreign policey...
Open your minds skip, mighty hiker et al. The world is Fukin Pissed and for good reason. Until you close minded meatballs can accept that the govt is not run by polititions anymore the world will continue hating us and our policies.

Skip you don't read right.
I said 86 different security cameras.
They won't show those recordings.
I didn't mention anything about no plane or plane.
See how you keep projecting onto everything being said.

Then tell me skip, what is so absurd about making accusations about 911 and gov't invovlement. Some may think explosives were planted by us, others may think there was subtle gov't involvment in the days and months leading up to it. Either way there is evidence to support both.
What we are saying skip is there should be another commission to look into the FACTS. Not a commission composed of the bush administration. If this is complete bull$&@! so is the state of our "democracey".

Skipt,
The 15 cabinets full that the NSA collects on each of us was an estimate and a comparison, an analogy, if you will of how much electronic/digital data they collect on each one of us and store. It is not literal. They do not go out and buy file cabinets and fill them with data they are collecting and then store them in underground warehouses in Area 51. It was an estimation using an anology that most people can relate to. It is all digital data they store.
Now do you get it? C'mon for crying out loud. Apparently I have to speak and write like I'm communicating with HS students . . .
But, I don't want to have to do that for the next 2 weeks. I'm now on vacation :-))

Hopefully out of this chaos a new gov't will form. A type of gov't that was fought for during the last civil war. British imperialism pushed us too far, now corporate imperialism "the corporatocracey" has done the same. Except in our times we have become weak and corrupted and do not have the balls to stand up for our rights like they did back then...

Skip,
I admire that you can admit we have a big problem on our hands. I think that's all we have to realize. What unsettles me are those who cannot see this. Yes planting explosives is extreme, the minds curiosity takes off when it seams like nothing has been done ... 9 years later.

Skip don't "get" anything--he just gives his narrow-minded opinion...
And Conservatives want to run this Country?
They can't proffer any ideas, except to revert to the "good ol' days", whatever that means.
Keep up the great links and posts (everyone but Skipt)--the truth will set us free!!!!1111666
edit: their (Cons) ideas are negative-based, unless of course they are peering and poking into your house and bedroom.

But Kyle, you're an Albertan. Aren't you supposed to be fantasizing about throwing off the imperialist yoke of the oppressors from Ontario?
Edit: Ideologically, I'm more or less the opposite of skipt. In US terms, I'd probably be considered a liberal, with all the positive connotations of that word. It may be more accurate to say that I'm a free-thinking liberal democrat. I trust government no more, or less, than I trust business, or any other institution, but I accept the essential role that the government has in our social contract.

Skipt,
Following your logic and reasoning is like knowing the location of an electron in an atom at any moment, the Uncertainty Principle in modern quantum physics, we just can't say exactly.
Huh? What did you say, and what are you talking about????
Edit:
Uh oh. Now we got the Canadians argueing with one another. Drink a beer and watch some hockey, it will be ok. Hugs?

If there was anything at all to the conspiracy fantasy, Associated Press, Reuters, New York Times, Washington Times, L.A. Times, or The Wall Street Journal would have reported on it.
If it were true, there would be a Pulitzer Prize in it for someone.
If it were true.

Chaz,
Then why haven't they reported on the court settled case regarding the truth of MLK Jr.'s assissination, and the US government's direct involvement with Special Forces snipers even admitting what they were there for? They were the back-up and several of those guys had to flee the country afterwards because their lives were endangered. They knew too much.
Proven. Case closed. US government direct involvement in MLK Jr's assassination.
So where are all the wonderful MSM who wants and covers the truth so well?
Crickets.
We have corporate bought and owned M$M now. Much of it is propaganda. Their propaganda. They cover what they want to cover and hide the rest.
Google the 2 books:
Act of State
The 13th Juror
Skipt,
Bible Code, argue it with GOD not me.
Now, I better get some work done today. Until we debate again . . .

Those boneheaded Fu?&wads in Ontario are the same puppets which are in office in USA, Britain, the Congo, Saudi, Australia. They all work together making it OUR problem. This is a global empire with global repercussions.
Before I get classified as a commie, I believe that democracey is a proud and beautiful system. Were not democratic anymore and some people could care less or maybe don't see it yet? I think the western world is compassionate, if only we were better informed. After all that is a prerequisite of a democracey...
