The well issue is going to take time and money. It's all coming along. As always, there's so much to do up here it gets hard to keep all the projects straight.

Actually, we're replacing the galvi a little at a time with PVC. The main problem is all the underground stuff. PVC is cheap and easy to fix. I ain't going to the copper world with the main house or the cabin since it's all in the walls (cinder block). I've got enough problems to deal with up here. I don't need anymore.

Water deliveries are getting expensive, not too mention hard to get. Yet another ball to juggle just so I can take a shower (once in a while).

Hi Alisa,

After the gorilla left almost 2 1/2 years ago we, the Cohn family and a few good friends have put in a tremendous amount of work on the property and the buildings. Thank you also to Wally for letting Robert use his Tonka toy.

We think it is coming along quite nicely.

TGT....feckin classic!

I can just see it, a big ole tank trying to make its way through the monument.

"Where are going today" the kiosk kitty politely asks.

"Well...we have a shooting tournament up at the Kohn property"

"Hmmmmm...do you need a map?"

Ya could haul a sh#t load of beer with that rig, i'll give it that.

Hey rlf,

This may have been covered. But, I do remember long long time ago the property line went across the road. does it still? If so, what's up with that land?

Yes, the property did indeed cross the road. They sub divided a chunk for the new road. The property now goes right to the road.

Did you get any snow out there last night, Robert?

I'm looking at snow around here on the local mountains at about 4,000 feet.

I was headed out to Jtree this morning and turned around at Rialto. It was pouring.

Snow level looked like it was down below 3000 ft in the San Bernardinos.

"I'm not saying that anyone should or shouldn't do anything here.

But I go to Joshua Tree for peace and quiet, and I think it sucks to have to hear that sh#t, and its been happening alot lately.

and yea, its way louder than any noise the "tourons" are making, you can hear it even on Queen Mtn. This aint Jacks shithole, its a National Park. "

I missed this one.

Did it ever dawn on you that the govt. chose to build a park around other peoples private property?

Apparently not.

Here's a dime, call someone who cares.

The only thing with a bigger impact on the park than Granite Construction, (at NPS behalf) are climbers.

What was it someone once said about those that live in glass houses?
