Lynne,

So let me get this straight........

You kill the original Thanksgiving In Joshua Tree Thread, and now you are going to no show?

Knew it!

To Clarify, zip.
Lynne started a thread about tday plans involving Josh, she updated to mention this new opportunity that precludes her from Josh, pretty on Topic, I'd say.

Then you insulted her for changing her plans, yup I'd say you are missing the point.
How did she kill another thread?

Lynne-

That's absolutely fantastic! I know we had discussed maybe France at some point in the future but I'm glad this has worked out for you now. Don't forget to post a trip report!

DUDES!

I am fortunate enough to consider Lynne a friend, and I am just playing.

It's about choices.

Free trip to Europe with family or freezing your ass off in JT with dirtbagging climbers?

Yea, that would be tough decision for me too.

I'm hoping this crew's abundant verbal truculence will stir up the breeze a little out there.

There's a lot of love on this forum some days I tell you!

Lynne, have fun in Europe!!! I love Europe, it's a blast. Just don't get freaked out about Bio Identification when they scan your retina and take your finger prints.

Take all your papers, too. No, I'm kidding have a blast, too bad we can't hang out in JTree but you're probably going to have a better time on the other side of the pond.

So how many hours of potential climbing can I look forward to while down there? It's going to be cold in the morning so I'm thinking people don't get started until about 10am?

I'm getting kind of stoked because I've always driven by JTree on the way to LA with the parents but never went up to it.

I've always been inspired by U2's Joshua Tree album. Finally.

Ray, sometimes I get the words accountability and flexibility mixed up :D

zip likes to torture me like any good Bro would his Sista. I actually went climbing in Josh last weekend. Saturday was perfect. Next time zip I will do all I can to force you to get there. We went to Indian Cove and did Tranquility and Palm Reader, Wendall Smith, Ron Gomez and his friend zig. You would have loved it.

Wendall led Tranquility, which has an interesting rappel off the back side. My first partial open air rap.

Ron Gomez leading Palm Reader. Did a great, solid job for his first lead in quite a while.

Wendall (L), Ron blue hat and zig. "Then there was the time......" :DD
Yeah, we have fun sharing the stories......
