^^^^^^ I'll have to say that these are songs not in my standard rotation. Gonna have to proceed slowly.
Tobia: You didn't say which two to start with. I assume that at least implies more than two. Sorry. It's like those expired lottery tickets, Michele found in her bag. Not a lot of money, but you must redeem in within 180 days.
Being Sunday and all, this is advertised as the best version, like Bob says to his accompanying guitarist, Mark my words. Sure glad he didn't say knock on wood.

locker:
The reason I ask is that, as some listeners to K-TACO will attest, I sometimes dedicate a song or collection of them to members of the audience.
I would hate to pick some tune that the dedicatee hated, would be a Crash on the Levee.
Hey Tobia:
This one appears to be on Youtube in it's entirety since this says 34 of 34.

So, this is dedicated to the one I love.
"We gonna soothe away the rest of our years ..."

EDIT: Wondering if anyone other than Garth Hudson played horns here. I know it wasn't Baby Face Brown, he had long since dropped out of the music world.

zb, Rockin' Chair only had Garth playing the accordion, no horns. I love Rockin Chair myself. Robertson supposedly wrote that song to reflect Richard Manuel's laid back personality, as Unfaithful Servant was a reflection of Rick Danko's.
The horn section, used for the performances recorded at the NY Academy of Music, was held out to the second set. Allen Toussaint's arrangements were played by an amazing allstar line up of Howard Johnson (see Taj below), Snooky Young, Earl McIntyre, Joe Farrell and J.D. Parran (along with Garth's on tenor and soprano sax solos).
The two recordings, made within a few weeks and miles of each other have 3 musicians in common, E. McIntyre, Howard Johnson & John Simon.

My friend Randy Ciarlante who I used to work with doing stonework was the second drummer and a vocalist in the group along with Richard Bell (RIP) on piano and Jim Weider on guitar during that period.

Tobia:
Treasures are via the Sierra Madre and others. So there's good and bad news. Bad, your package did not make it into the mountains, good, it will go out today. Sorry for the foul up. I'll show my badge if that helps, but just don't judge me by my shoes (or hat).
