It's good to be home again, though.
the whole way the AC was cold ... even when turned off ???
but failed on the descent into needles at 112. the climbout solved the problem, wrench free:
93 in kingman, 78 by seligman, 67 through williams, 56 o'night in valle, 50 at the south rim

The cave which has been referred to as the Mochi Cave is actually known as Moqui Cave...sorry my bad.
The ambient temperature in the cave is in the sixties, making it a perfect retreat from desert heat and cold.

Some fjord horses in this series. The Norsemen is available at Netflix.
It is a six-part series in English and some of the first episode had me in hysterics, especially when I thought of comparing it to the other Norse drama, The Vikings.
It's a pure send-up, if you ask me.

The Verde Riviera. A vacation anyone can afford.
The water's there, just muddied up some.
Quite a story, there, according to the tour guide:
Cattle ate all of the original vegetation, floods came,
things changed, and now the water's silty as a result.
It's a nice shade of brown, I suppose, and the cattle likely could care less.
