Far too late to be fort thwith, but here again alla same.
Chipotlé watchablé, amigos.
Aimless wanderings led thru gorgeous gorges, past deep ditches,
and into the mouth of the Mochi Cave.

Saturday, the first day of this road trip.
We slept at lennypenny's above Sonora and made an alpine start Sunday morning.
That second day we cleared Sonora Pass, which had just gotten rain the night before.
We dined at the Sportsman in Bridgeport on huevos rancheros served by Roxana from Romania.
Pushing south, we cruised Bishop back streets out to Sunland.
Charging south again, the Whitney Fish Hatchery and a gas-up in Independence,
followed by another leg down to the junction of 395 with 136.
Death Valley traversed by dark to just below the south border
at the mythic and hopefully invisible Bandit Camp.

hey there say, mouse... just checking the ol' flames, here... stopped by earlier, but had to get back to the yard work...
will listen to the song, too...

caught up on ALL the weeds in the yard, :)

After arriving in Valle several loops were taken by we two.
Much to see:
Car museum in Valle at the old airport-waiting-to-die,
a fine rock shop,
the Verde River country,
Williams, Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff,
(and don't forget Winona),
the local ski area,
Babbit Ranch,
the Flintstones Village,
area gift shops,
photography shop/museum in Kanab,
and Mike's garage & community-building agency.
We even located some places where people go climbing.
