Chinese are churning out massive amounts of solar panels, and with the horrendous air quality in some of their major cities due to coal burning, are likely to move a lot faster to address it than we would.
The upside of a one-party state I guess.
What ever happened to the algal bloom inducing, iron seeding concept for carbon sequestration? That one sounded reasonably promising if you could avoid localized fishkill scenarios.

China per capita emissions are now as high as the EU average, so they can no longer use the "we're just catching up" argument, esp considering they have 1.37 billion people. Of course the US mostly ignored the issue for the last 20 years, allowing it to get to this condition. Had we taken more action we might have more of a leg to stand on. But one group can not act unilaterally unless it has strong evidence or agreements with enforcement to get others to follow. Is Texas following California's lead on green energy?
China actually had the best opportunity to build green energy since it didn't have to replace old existing plants and supply chains.

In your own words, what is the EVIDENCE that man's CO2 has caused any of the warming since the LIA? ... the warming that stopped 2 decades ago.
Temp scales the same in both graphs. IPCC data.

hmmm, let me see Andyman.... the industrial revolution started in 1750 and atmospheric carbon started increasing as a result shortly after... trick question, BOTH.

Yep, "science teachers" are good at making up 1/4 truths, especially at the (I'm guessing) jr. high level. Science education in Utah is a joke today, let alone in 1912 (I'm guessing) when he retired.

One third of all man's CO2 emissions have been made in the past 17 years ... but the Earth refuses to warm.
Come on true believers, make a fool of yourselves by guessing which graph is caused by man's CO2 and which is caused by nature. No one has had the guts to try.
All you gullible fools and no one has had the guts to attempt to give EVIDENCE that man's CO2 emissions have caused any of the warming since the LIA. There is no evidence!

President Obama could, tomorrow, use his pen and phone to tell the automotive industry that in a year or two the entire federal car fleet needs to be run on natural gas.
It is cheap to pull off. It would cause the entire car fleet in the United States (Government and private sector) to go this direction. Even better, most people would be able to fill their car in the garage at night.
Cheaper, cleaner and you don't hear the President saying a word....
