(Did I get that right?)
A pawn in life's game.
A pawn upon life's game.
A prawn upon the lawn in life's game.
A lawn jockey, a garden gnome, and a statue of St. Francis walk into a bar.
Pink Flamingo, a glass of rose, and a Virgin Mary.

You still workin' on these moves? We're all expecting to see it post-surgery.
I had eye surgery once (well actually twice), it didn't help me with the moves, but it does help me to see stuff.
Here's to a speedy recovery.

AP Philosophy test question to ponder.
For that matter, if anyone IS around, does it make any noise?

"I don't know, just got here myself"

Nice photos Doc.
I don't find any record of this guy at Freight & Salvage, but it's still pretty good though.

1968.
I was employed makin' burgers in the mornings, walking to work on San Pablo Ave. to the Red Barn. They called me the Set-up dude. It was a McJob before there were such.
I lived on San Pablo Ave. in a run-down apartment in the rear of a carpet store, an ex-con and his moll and two brats upstairs. They were quiet, but then he was the silent type, held things close, kept his sentences to as few words as possible. Very expressive eyes, though. Nawmean? Shifty. Things were always hinkey with this dude.
Everyone was dude back then, dude.
Every weekend on Fridays I went to Freight & Salvage. I saw a lot of folks doin' folk music. I got to hear them as well.
I don't think I ever saw or heard any blind or deaf folks like Blind Willie McTell or Deaf Johnny Johnson, but they had scheduled a dude named Blind Melon Chitterling one night, but he never showed and John Shine stood in for him.
John thrilled us with a broken string during his set that he ignored until the song ended, no biggie.
[Click to View YouTube Video]It was said that Blind Melon could make his guitar talk. He be preachin' to the deaf and witnessin' to the blind.
