DT is not from Dystopia.
Nothing dystopian is happening here.
There is no mastermind at work here.
There is no plan at work here.
There is only controversy and enmity, it seems.
No one seems happy ALL the time, of course; but when half the stuff happening gets to you, it's still not dystopian.
Except the gal outside of the Dollar Store having a conversation with someone not there. She likes it in the shade next to the newsracks.
And the guy huddled over next to the garbage can, twining his hands up in the air and smiling...about what? What's he got to smile about? His mom kicked him out and yet he keeps hanging around, and she lets him in to take a bath now and then, and maybe a meal is provided, and maybe even some cash, but he never spends the night.
The hard mesh framing the garbage can is there to prevent theft of the receptacle and the chain is there to prevent theft of the frame for scrap and is in turn wrapped around the bicycle stand.
Don't tell me there's a plan. It's one patch job after another, one lost cause after another, one species down the tubes followed by ten more the next year.
Nature should have it's own office of independent prosecutor or maybe we need a league of justice ninjas.
Now we're talking dystopian.

Averse to Poetry
Locked in verbal battle with myself again today
This seems to be much more like work than it is like play
To make a rhyme and cause a smile rewards me in its way
But when the muse goes missing is when my thinking goes astray
I wish there was more...perhaps soon, perhaps later, maybe never.

A sack of potatoes.
A bag of onions.
