Thanks for sharing Jaybro. Awesome.
I did something similar when Erica Kutcher died in an avalanche near Shipton Spire some summers back. The mountains and summit registers are a nice place to leave memories of our lost climbing friends.

A friend just told me about Blitzo.
And I guess now he's out there somewhere, hitchhiking around the Universe, taking amazing photos of the Horsehead Nebula and free-soloing Orion's Belt, just before heading out to those other far-flung galaxies.
I did not know Blitzo well, but I sure did like the guy.
Vaya con dios, mi amigo.

Nice one Jaybro, I agree the summit registers make some great memorials to climbers past.

Planted three yucca plants for Blitzo.today. and it rained in the desert. Always a good smell and a good sign. Wish he were here to.fret over my lack of a green thumb. He'd laugh all day about it and then take.to watering everything. He really loved nature.

Sorry to hear about Billy's passing. I had been monitoring the thread hoping for the best. Its always tough when we lose one of our tribe. It hits pretty close to home. He lived a full life and spent his last days with loving caring friends. What else can we ask for of life? Props to those that were there for him these last few months. To have friends like that...
As with all we have lost he lives on in our hearts and minds...

Chappy your sister's quilt was there with him when he passed. She put a lot of time and thought into it. What a sweetie she is.
I still laugh though at the love quilt....seeing hand stitched squares with things like "goatboy smellz" on them and some other crazy names...the folks at the hospice had to know he had quite a wide net of interesting friends.
