In 1996, Lee was convicted of possession of a firearm by an ex-felon and grossly negligent discharge of a firearm for allegedly shooting a gun in the air during a dispute with a neighbor.

The temp's only gone to 97 so far. Pretty dry, too, only 22% humidity.

Totally off topic, but from Eleanor Farjeon, the Isle of Mull and Cat Stevens, I give you one of my favorite morning songs for when you greet the dawn tomorrow, MFM. :) Thank for all the super dawn photos. Spectacular!
The weather is still hitting near 100F here, and today, coughing our way through the conversation as smoke swirled around us, we talked of evacuation plans and safety measures. I have been doing more clearing of combustibles from around the house these last days. We are not under evac. threat or even an evac. watch. But the fire crews are sending out speakers to prepare us for what looks to be a dry, hot season. I think all of the smoke we are breathing now is from Oregon or Idaho. I hope it clears more by morning.
But tomorrow morning, I will greet the day with this song. :)

The rope was 150 feet and we both hated fighting drag or twists.
We were scandalous in that the belayer on the ground did not tie in.
Doing so, not tying in, reduced.the twist.
There were even times when the cord twisted to the F U B A R, state,
that one holds up over time, SNAFU too,
but Effed up beyond all recognition . . . .
that one so covered what climbing with gold line and tied cord slings, hammer n' pins
was Ike.
Climbing with that old wave stuff was,
it was always some level of SNAFU but rare times it devolved, -FUBAR!

Thank you for all the good thoughts. I am not choking, but also not outside in the smoke. I'm trying to use some common sense, and no one has ever accused me of having much of that. Smoke is less today: I can see at least the silhouette of the Divide, out across the lake.
Throwing . . . the only throwing I have done in a long time is throwing clay. Yes, I throw like a girl. But if there is a competition, well then . . .

I have a pit of broken and cast off pottery. I am leaving it for some future archaeologist to find, and then people will see my chop (signature) on some of the shards, and it will be cool to have people collect the bits I leave that are not in collections. :)
Yes, dogs have no use for pottery bits. But I have made a couple of porcelain dog bowls for Wonder Dogs I have known.
I had not heard Cat sing about his Dog.
