From ironic to Byronic, just like that.

Ms. Math informed me that it is currently 36 degrees differential. However, LC is only 16 degrees.

And you ask why I don't live there, honey, why don't you move.

Maybe to Ecuador, Provincia de Tungurahua

Worth an ounce of cure.[Click to View YouTube Video]Footage from June, 2013.

There is some minor flooding along the Kings R. this week because of high temps. Tonight's news stated the Kings R. golf course is a victim of the run-off, as well as the Kings R. mobile home park.

The inflow, however, is decreasing today, which will help, but will it be enough? There is considerable debris and fill in the riverbed from the past drought years which reduces the amount of water the riverbed can carry, according to those whose job it is to know this.

Sometimes I wonder what's going on with Ms. Math.

When I showed up at the Cinema yesterday morning I met a fella from Canberra.

His name is Mark and he'd been on the GP Trail the day prior.

He said the view from there was his most memorable experience when I asked.

He was on his way over to the Greyhound to visit a friend in SF before returning down under.

So here, for the heck of it, a page of Can rock.

They do sell Pez in Australia, but mostly get the European sets of dispensers. These are pretty awful candies, as candies go, and not nearly in the same league as TicTacs or Jolly Ranchers.

World population to hit 9.8 billion by 2050, despite nearly universal lower fertility rates – UN

The world population is now nearly 7.6 billion, up from 7.4 billion in 2015,

“With roughly 83 million people being added to the world's population every year, the upward trend in population size is expected to continue, even assuming that fertility levels will continue to decline,” said the report's authors at the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

At this rate, the world population is expected to reach 8.6 billion in 2030, 9.8 billion in 2050 and surpass 11.2 billion in 2100.

That I Weren't Purple I Wish

Purple Purple Purple,
Makes me wanna earp, I'll
keep away from purple,
Lest it makes me burp, I'll
drink no purple syrup, Will
take no purple perk pill,
Not wear a thing that's purple,
Even if I'm Irkle,
Or was just a grape all purple,
It's such a lot of work, I'll
settle for a perco
lating pot full, Of joe I'll
sleep a week, will
not eat some purple bread, Will
wish I had no secret, I'll
tell no purple lies, Well
except for just this one, I'll
wish that I weren't purple,

Catch this Arkane Arkived Ozark Jubilee (a regular Saturday Night broadcast) from back when America was great,
it's corners weren't worn, and the rust wasn't nearly so noticeable.

To the Moon, Alice. One o' these days...
Moon said on Thursday, "I believe we must now have the perception that North Korea is an irrational regime.”

On Thursday however, North Korea went a step ahead - calling U.S. President Donald Trump a "psychopath" as tensions soar.
