I'm always fascinated by the need to post links when asked a question.
maybe trying to spend less of their personal time here than they/we already do?

The Washington Post article is excellent. It really lays out the case why Trump should never be president. As much as Hillary may not be likable (or, to many, not trustworthy) she is no threat.
My worry is that we have some significant terrorist event between now and election day. Trump is already blowing the nationalistic horns. A big terror event would fall right into his hands and, I fear, would influence many to vote for him, perceiving toughness and strength and some sort of national savior. Let's hope that doesn't happen.
There is a point that the Post makes that is critically important, in my view. I really hope this does not get lost in the election and post election: The Trump litany of victimization has resonated with many Americans whose economic prospects have stagnated. They deserve a serious champion, and the challenges of inequality and slow wage growth deserve a serious response.
Sanders and his "political revolution" began to address this. Hillary, not so much. I'll vote for Hillary, but want to continue to support Bernie and his revolution and put Hillary's feet to the fire on these issues.

Fear...Thanks for the interuption and public safety announcement....carry on..
I am here to serve... you're welcome!
As for the 'options' in November... neither turd is palatable but at this point Donald has never (to my knowledge) killed anyone or been directly responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands.
It's almost as if there is no choice. Imagine that.

A Trump win would endanger you and your family. Don't let that happen.
That's certainly a good possibility but an absolute guarantee with Hillary.
Ending the war on drugs, entirely, and removing all of the welfare-state incentives for new arrivals would do more than any nonsense "wall" ever could. But alas, both candidates will perpetuate the insanity with their own spin.

What the bigger issue here with the leaked DNC emails is;
The leaked email with a staffer erroneously accusing Bernie Sanders of being an atheist really sucks because 45 years after the open-mindedness of the '60s someone can still use the atheist card against you as a pick to determined whether or not you are a true American.
Here we are 60 years after the McCarthy era still acting like a bunch of apes, determining someone's allegiance to reason based on their possible lack of fear of a mythology, peer pressure, and cowardice.

Interesting article about a prominent republican thinker who realizes that the Republican Party is a white nationalist party, and that since Goldwater in 1964, it has basically been the anti-civil right party. Free market/small government types like himself need a new home, he concludes.

The DNC will only be cleaned up if Trump wins. Does anyone really think Hillary will clean it up if she wins?

The United States Attorney’s Office extends its support to the five-year-old victim of assault, and her family, at the Fawnbrook Apartments in Twin Falls. The United States Attorney’s Office further encourages community members in Twin Falls and throughout Idaho to remain calm and supportive, to pay close attention to the facts that have been released by law enforcement and the prosecuting attorney, and to avoid spreading false rumors and inaccuracies.
“Grant Loebs is an experienced prosecutor, and Chief Craig Kingsbury is an experienced law enforcement officer. They are moving fairly and thoughtfully in this case,” said Wendy J. Olson, U.S. Attorney for Idaho. “As Mr. Loebs and Chief Kingsbury informed the public, the subjects in this case are juveniles, ages 14, 10 and 7. The criminal justice system, whether at the state or federal level, requires that juveniles be afforded a specific process with significant restrictions on the information that can be released. The fact that the subjects are juveniles in no way lessens the harm to or impact on the victim and her family.
The spread of false information or inflammatory or threatening statements about the perpetrators or the crime itself reduces public safety and may violate federal law. We have seen time and again that the spread of falsehoods about refugees divides our communities. I urge all citizens and residents to allow Mr. Loebs and Chief Kingsbury and their teams to do their jobs.”

TWIN FALLS — Police and the FBI are looking into violent threats left at city offices and made against city officials over the handling of a sexual assault on a 5-year-old girl.
Twin Falls Mayor Shawn Barigar and Vice Mayor Suzanne Hawkins have both forwarded threatening messages they received about the incident to police.
