I'm really bummed over the fact that the new UC admin center is NOT the promulgated three storeys high with parking on the bottom. It is four storeys, no matter how they are counted.
The crews have put up more pillar forms this week and last and this morning they are pouring right now over there, sending the white noise of large pumps over and chasing off the mockingbirds.
There will be no view but of the Courthouse and the new building. No more Mt. Clark sunrises.
*sigh*

The roof, like much else around here, is a no-no.
No-no, I can't go up there without being guilty of ignoring a missive from Miss Management stating no fire escapes, which means no roof, as well, because in order to get to the roof, I need to be on a fire escape. (Catch 25.5)
Today's mundane problem is water leakage (serious) under the bathroom sink. But no one's taking calls at the emergency number, no one's been in the office all day, either. I got standing water here, mosquitoes breeding by the hundreds, and wet dang feet.
No-no, not today.
Should I throw a snit?
Should I tweet the sheeit out of this? "That would never happen in one of my buildings."

“Dylan worship is impervious to evidence. It begins and ends in experience and memory, personal and generational.”

Dylan hasn’t shown many signs that he’s ever fallen for his own press… Like most successful entertainers, Dylan had excellent timing. He came of age just as intelligibility vanished as a criterion for successful poetry. This gave him the freedom to write any old thing that came into his head, and gave his fans license to pretend they knew what he was singing about.

good link ^^^ feeling placated all over nowIn short, meaning is meaningless, man. Stop worrying about it so much. Get some of the chill I have in abundance.
There is something tragic, ennobling, meaningful about caring for something far more than it cares about you. On this, Dylan will always deliver for his fans.

Good Morning Mouse.
Hope you have a lovely weekend planned. It's the Governor's Cup today, and this year, I am sitting it out.
Next year.

Hello, ff. The weekend calendar is totally blank. I'm practicing my voguing technique and perfecting an old sealing wax recipe off and on, mixed with some light reading (John D. Rock's bio & a commentary on Norman Rock).
Dimes and apple pie.

First time I saw the zMan up close was at Petersen gym in San Diego. I was 6-10 feet away and although he did not wink at me, I could see the drops of sweat on the end of his nose. I kept waiting for him to brush them away, but he never did.
It's alright man, I'm only sweating.
His mom said, it happened alot

Halfway thru the Rocky D bio.
The leak under the sink got fixed, too.
Ceviche tostadas for early dinner.
