Hey everybody! First time to the forums but I’ve met many of you out at Stoney over the past year I’ve been climbing there. I’m currently in the pre-production phase of a short film I’m working on titled “The Secrets of Stoney.” What I find unique to the point are the climbs that aren’t listed in the guidebooks; the infinite number of eliminates and adds ons. Take kamps mantel for example or the 10 thousand different variations of no pigs ranging from v0 to v6. I’d also like to visit some areas and classic climbs that receive less traffic than the main boulders such as the grandma’s boy area. It will be shot in the raw bouldering flick format integrated with interviews with the climbers.
I’m looking for a group of climbers who are willing to share their stories or climb in the film. Also if anyone is interested in video production and would like to help crew I’m more than happy to get you on board. I planning on shooting during the next couple of weeks and am currently creating an email list. If you’re interested shoot me your email at joeramosmail@yahoo.com.
Some of my recent work can be viewed here-

Thanks,
Joe

Yeah- I've pretty much started ignoring it too. (at Stoney)A lot of it seems to just fade on it's own. Half the time you take the time to remove it and they just paint over the same spot again. I hate f*#king taggers. Cement shoes and drop them in the ocean I say.

Just for reference thought I'd link the "Three on a Rope" (1938) film from the other thread. Classic old Tahquitz footage and the last scene of the film was filmed at Stoney.

JTM --- Excellent, too funny. They seem to bounce back & forth from Stoney Point to Idyllwild & back again.

Should stoney be good to go this evening? I know it's been foggy and damp the past few mornings by my house, but is it dry out there? I know there will be people out there, but I just don't want to be that guy.

Ahh no way, how cool! Where'd you see the cat?
So I take it from the last post that Stoney is good to go for tomorrow? I can't wait!...haven't had a Tuesday off from work since Thanksgiving.

Is everyone afraid of the dark? Stoney was so packed yesterday and the second the sun goes down everyone leaves. It was a full moon too, you didn't even need a headlamp.

are you sure they left, fish? if you look closely at the canyons, you can usually see blue smoke rising.
