Sorry Jody, didn't mean to be cryptic, but the only fella I recognized for sure in your photo was Dan-o...so you could've been in purple, or you could've been in paisley. Just putting a face to the words.
The Courtright shot is awesome, BTW.

Great thread all, thanks for sharing. Somewhat of a lurker myself and feeling the thread deserved the bump thought I would post up.
Hope it works as this is my first attempt at posting pics on the Taco.
Me and friend just starting a five day-er into the Enchantments near Leavenworth, Wa. I'm on the left.
At the very top of Asgaard Pass
Not me but one of my Fav shots on the trip, taken from my Hammock in the morning
Me, top of a light house on Isla Mujeres
Hope to recognize some of ya'll and say hi.
Cheers

I agree, that's the most beautiful goat I've ever seen.
Most goats just look like "goats"
This guy looks noble ..........

Thanks guys. I woke up just as the sun was coming up over the peaks and soon this guy strolled in. I'd left my camera within reach and was able to snap it while still in my hammock and sleeping bag.
And thanks for the Welcome L - I've actually been lurking for around five years, making the occassional post and enjoying the banter but staying out of the fray for the most part. Been really fun 'getting to know' everyone and put faces with the names - and then to see Sushifest born has been awesome - WOW - so much for technology making us non-social hermits! Fun too to see that the flaming and namecalling has really been toned down since this thread and sushifest has taken off - hopefully it will last.
Here are a couple of other photos from the same trip I thought I'd share. Not of the quality of most posted here but I enjoy em, hope you do too.
Hope this doesn't constitute hijacking the thread for landscape photos but locations like this are what I enjoy most - so they kinda help ya get to know me :0
Cheers all,
Terry

Terry,
What camera, lense and film stock are you using? (Or are you shooting digital???) The yellow/orange saturation of your photos is absolutely incredible. So is the sharpness.
You could start a Landscape thread and get about 1000 people posting there, too (hint...hint).

That goat made my morning Terry. Majestic! What a moment that must have been.
Is it just me or do others think that us humans, with our hairless bodies capped by a ridiculous shock of hair, pale in comparison to creatures like that goat?

Going for the twelve--the real mojede says this is one of the few pictures of herself that she likes. Too bad I cropped 95% of the original, enlarged it (losing resolution), and japed it in Photosmart. At least she likes it.

Just buzzed thru these and thought it might be worth bumping just to see if someone takes 1200.
I won't, but it'd be sweet if a cool pic made it...
I vote for the goat. Especially if there's a shot of it drinking Sierra Nevada.
