Out at the crags today (South Dakota Needles), out of touch, got a text from Daphne in a brief locus of connectivity.
Miss you already Blitzo, but glad you're done hurting. Thanks for all of it Blitzo, its a different world since I met you. I'll never be the same, nor would I want to be.

Thanks Russ, for the great tribute.
Bill was a true kindred spirit to me - I have not met a lot of them.
Maybe one of his amazing talents was this one, to just be sincere and allowing.
The crazy thing is he was really good at down-playing his amazing categorical and aesthetic mind.
Music/Zappa, Beer, Climbing, Photography, Experiences, Indulgence, Joy, the man had it all in spades.
An amazing spirit has moved on and left us with a large array of gifts and reminders.
Miss you, my Friend.

I didn't know Blitzo, and I don't know anything about "the other side." But what is screamingly obvious is that this man made the world a better place. How do I know that? Because I can see his impact on so many people...
People who are now missing someone who made their lives better just by being part of those lives.
Wish I'd known you dude...

Watched the golden time of day atop a route in jt this evening.
Full value, Bloot.

It's amazing to me how folks can debate religion ad nauseum, when sometimes a simple act says more than 1000 statements ever could.
In my opinion, what Blitzo's friends have shown during this difficult time is what it's all about. . plain and simple.
Deep condolences and great respect for you all.
