... the only difference was that Libby presented all the facts.

If Libby presented all the facts, then tell me again why he was convicted?

They don't say anything about Cheney, even though it was Cheney that outed Valerie Plane

Actually, I'm pretty sure it was Armitage and Libby that outed Plame.

Nobody was indicted for that.

Libby was convicted of the charges because he lied to a prosecutor ( Comey, the same fellow who in now the FBI director not charging Hillary), a Grand jury, and in court.

Blue or Red makes no difference. The system is rotten to the core.

We've got a garden variety narcissist acting like a clown make-believe he's running "against" a neocon warmongering criminal who isn't accountable for anything she does.

Rome must have been a similar experience towards the end.

Most empires that have fallen have had a combination of outside shocks (war, famine, etc) and dysfunctional politics.

Yes, our politics are dysfunctional, but our current choices still matter and politics are relative. Compared to most places in Africa, our politics are great.

I find it hard to imagine how people think that it won't make any difference whether Hillary or Trump gets elected. You have a choice between a sleazy, wonkish centrist who will generally go with the status quo, and a politically inexperienced angry populist demagogue whose mental fortitude to be president is highly suspect.

If nothing else, the POTUS makes a huge difference for Supreme Court decisions that directly affect people's lives. Obamacare and gay marriage were 5/4 decisions. The Texas abortion case 5/3 (but it only would have taken one vote difference for it to have been null).

Libby was convicted and sentenced to over two years in prison,

His "buddy" President Bush interceded and "pardoned" his jail time.

Does this bother anyone who voted for Bush?

or more likely, you voted Republican because you can't stand voting for economic prosperity

Blue or Red makes no difference

words usually spoken by uninformed and misinformed high school kids

"makes no difference" - tell that to the thousands who died in Republican Iraq

"makes no difference" - tell that to Locker and twenty million others who now have health care thanks to Democrats

scorecard, bitches

I should have been more specific.

Is anyone still gullible enough to think Bush & Co. (Bush, Cheney, Rove and Libby) intentionally outed Valery Plame?

8000+ dead on Bush's watch, no concern,

Does that 8000 number include the 2000+ troop deaths under Obama's watch?

No, but it should count 200,000 Iraqi civilians killed by both sides under Dubz watch.

I think you know there are problems with that figure, or the way you're portraying it.

Civi deaths happen for many reasons, and you are quite aware of that. Targeting a civilian is much different than collateral damage or enemy troops sheltering with unknown civis.

But I also know that W would be the first one to offer prayers and HONEST regret for those who died innocently in the war. I know this.

The bigger question is how many civilians have died at the hands of terrorists, and why?

I'm gonna start a new thread for this.
