Be careful with them old ultrasounds.
I had a huge kidney stone in one. Then, another US a bit later (don't recall the amount of time) it was gone.
Having passed some big ones, I would have noticed it coming out in my peepee.
The answer, mah fren, is still blowing in the wind.

Ultrasonically, I can't say what. What's up with that, doc?
Results of ultrasounds are ultra-secret and highly guarded until they are revealed by EXPERTS who are trained in the nuances of such phenomena as taking light from sound.
(Better living electrically.)
"Thank God for the rain."
There were two ultrasound exams. One on my heart. One on my legs.
"Sometimes they clean up the blood."
They name their elevators in the VA Hospital...Sierra, Huntington, like that. Numbers aren't enough. Stylish Fresno.
(Better living aesthetically.)
Sometimes the elevator goes all the way to the top. I feel light-headed by the time I get to the top floor. I rode elevators to relieve the boredom of waiting.
I also sat in a wheelchair out front in the sun on the entrance esplanade. People-watching. How old we've all become. And how good it was to see the ladies dressed in their summer clothes, too, I should add.
Thank you, Andy the Van Driver, dedicated DAV volunteer...didn't even leave the meter running.
(There is no meter...how un-poetic.)

In Defense of a Diminished Stature, Chad
Please don't be sad
When there's nothing to add
Of substance, dear lad
Another troublesome doodad
By a vexing comrade
And please don't be mad
When the content is bad
Whether mythic or by Vlad
Or the writers a cad
Who only wears plaid
When the worst that you've had
Is an unkempt nomad
From Rome or Riyadh
In barely a scad
Or a crusty granddad
Whose completely unclad
Nary a Galahad
Or a fit Olympiad
For he's only a tad
Tempered by the fad
Of the latest triad
In their funky dank pad
In distant Leningrad
So don't be like Brad
All up in the nad
Emotions aren't ironclad
You know that, egad!

NOT quite as well-publicized as it might be...
Hooprolling began with an activity once held on May Day, which students celebrated as a day of frivolity and of escaping from real-world worries into a day of child's play. Students would dress up in children's clothing and play games on Severance Green. One of the most popular was a race in which seniors, clad in graduation robes, rolled wooden hoops. Hooprolling has become a Wellesley institution in itself and is now held independently.

Another not-so-well-publicized event here in My Town.
The month of May being Bicycle Month, Mayor Murphy last year decided to push the pedals for public awareness.

I chose to stay home and took a long walk later in the heat of the day to El Bajio and the Grocery Outlet.
Summer's here, the UC students have left for now, and the mockingbird rules the nighttime. The window's wide open and his sounds are like crystal, so crisp and happy-sounding. And such a wide selection of bird-calls this one has, Oh my! :0)
The tree crew was out and whacking palms Saturday a.m. and provided plenty of entertainment of a sort enjoyed by retired old farts...watching others work and silently criticizing.

I had begun to think I was all rhymed out.
But if one has enough brisk Lipton, not to worry.
Nocturnal Emissions on a Summer’s Eve
The mockingbird calls out in a thousand bird voices
Some might just hear these as crude irksome noises
The railroad train rolls through to add a heavy bass note
(An accomplished accompanist since 1874)
Its horn sounding more like a ship than a boat
And right on time, here comes the Santa Fe freight
One thing you know is that it’s never late
I heard police sirens and heard some shots fired
Some distance away and it makes me so tired
But I’m still awake though as if I were wired
Chasing odd thoughts that these sounds have inspired
