Correction, rottingjohnny, it was actually 22 million missing emails. But what the hell, a power of 10 here or there; it's all good.

Curt wrote: "Correct. He said there wasn't a case."
he did a lot more than that, as i pointed out.
if you think i'm wrong, name me one case where an investigator calls a press conference and says "they have evidence of such and such" and so and so "should have done such and such"
until i here an answer i'll let you continue to keep succinctly stating half of the truth...
Comey DID say there was no case. You are cherry picking irrelevant parts out of his press conference and completely skipping his conclusion. Comey said:
In looking back at our investigations into mishandling or removal of classified information, we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts. All the cases prosecuted involved some combination of: clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information; or vast quantities of materials exposed in such a way as to support an inference of intentional misconduct; or indications of disloyalty to the United States; or efforts to obstruct justice. We do not see those things here.
Comey also said that "no reasonable prosecutor would bring charges." I think that's pretty clear.

Hey what do you think ever happened to these guys
Rockefeller Republicans were moderate or liberal on domestic and social policies. They typically favored New Deal programs and a social safety net; they sought to run these programs more efficiently than the Democrats.[8] Rockefeller Republicans also saw themselves as champions of "good government", contrasting themselves to the often corrupt machine politics of the Democratic Party (particularly in large cities). They were strong supporters of big business and Wall Street. In fiscal policy they favored balanced budgets, and were not averse to raising taxes in order to achieve them.
In state politics, they were strong supporters of state colleges and universities, low tuition, and large research budgets. They favored infrastructure improvements, such as highway projects. In foreign policy, they tended to be Hamiltonian, espousing internationalist and realist policies, supporting the United Nations, and promoting American business interests abroad.
That sounds like the Clintons to me. Rockefeller Republicans from Arkansas.

Curt...it was a dog and pony show.
Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.
She got scolded by the FBI director in the second part of the above, pretty f*#ked up in my opinion.
All he needed to do was say if a crime has been committed or not. My opinion.

It got me to wondering who was sending the classified emails to an email server known not to be a secure server.
Can we got an Amen for reopening the investigation and getting after these presumed criminals?
Anyway, we all know that all the government servers are secure all of the time, right?

I'm still trying to figure out how Trump has less integrity than Hillary.
At least, like Bernie, Trump is brutally honest. Hillary is a f*#king junk-show.

"I'm still trying to figure out how Trump has less integrity than Hillary."
Not the point, blue.
Regardless of who Trump is up against, does his persona demonstrate what America needs in the White House, or not?
Edit:
Some Republicans call Trump out for the piece of sh#t that he really is, while still having great reservations about Hillary. I can respect that...but anyone who tries to rationalize Trump's behaviors is either a racist/misogynist/etc themselves, or they are completely lying to themselves and everyone around them.

I'm not sure we're actually in huge disagreement. Texting, posting, email, etc. are imperfect mediums for communicating.

The most bizarre aspect of the Trump campaign is that The Donald has been a headline and tabloid fixture for more than 30 years, but he thinks that nobody knows what he's been up to during that time.
Trump has made it his life's work to be in the forefront of the public consciousness. He has an incredible craving for attention and recognition, and has actively worked to make sure that every thing he does gets noticed, reported, and broadcast out to the public.
Now, though, he suddenly wants to run for president, and he thinks that his entire backstory will somehow, magically, vanish into thin air.
He has made a career out of everyone else knowing his business, but he somehow remains convinced that his extensively sordid past remains hidden and unknowable to the public.
In the future, there will be multiple PhD psychology dissertations written about Trump and his surrealistic presidential campaign.
Pay attention kids, you are witnessing history in the making.

Just to be clear, had classified materials been sent an indictment would have been recommended. Discussing classified matters in private emails, while sloppy, doesn't rise to the level of an indictable offense. If it did, the entire W administration would be in prison.

The asymmetry of the Republican response to the Obama administration compared to the Democratic response to the Bush administration is truly astonishing.
The GOP politicians are self-serving and self-interested, and have little or no regard for the American public.
The Republicans in Congress waste their time and waste taxpayers' money chasing phantom wrong-doing by Democrats.
Meanwhile, if you look at the record of Federal politicians who have been indicted and convicted during the Bush and Obama administrations, the majority have been Republicans (13 to 6).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_federal_politicians_convicted_of_crimes
This is truly an absurd and ludicrous state of affairs.
Vote the Republicans out of office, and Make America Great Again

Use of the private server was very stupid and unnecessary. But she is the only candidate advocating for policies i agree with, and despite this mistake, the temperament and judgment for the job.
Yes the use of the private email server was bad: trump university (among many other trump scams) actually hurt a lot of people.
No fooking way am I voting for that vindictive, short tempered, no nothing bigoted conman.

Hitting the nail on the head, the republicans have done nothing to help the average American.

Fortunately for Clinton, republicans are not capitalizing on this nearly as well as they could.
Trump doesn't have the money right now to nail her with biting ads while the controversy is still fresh, so that's a missed opportunity. Meanwhile, he keeps talking about a rigged justice system. So? Why not attack her directly?
Paul Ryan wants even more investigations about the FBI's investigation. Why--because the last umpteen investigations (IRS, Benghazi, etc.) conducted by the house were so fruitful and interesting to the general population? Sure, they would re-fire up the base, but firing up the base is all the republicans ever do.
A capable, cleaner republican nominee could actually scorch her with this.
