WHAT'S UP WITH THE HATERS ON THIS THREAD?
I've had an up and down life, but the government has kept its promises, and life if pretty darn good. I do believe in the American dream, and despite my dry and cynical humor, I am pretty optimistic, as are my friends.
Things are mostly good here in rural America, and from what I see and read, the same applies to the rest of this great nation.
My glass is mostly full, and it is the right wing posteurs on this thread that believe your glasses are bitter and nearly empty.
I am sorry that you, and some other bitter people, think that way, because you have accepted the dark side of a very bright future.
Life's good in rural America, if you aren't living a downer life!
& RJ---the chainsaw has an 18" blade, anything shorter would be un-American.

My middle uncle was gay. Lots of my mom's co-workers. I've had quite a few climbing partners who are. A good friend at the gym and another at work who are. Good folks. Smart, caring. All of whom could take you in fist fight. And several of whom are serving their country as we speak.
You seem to think gay is defective or shameful somehow? And you have the temerity to whine about "tolerance" and oppression of YOU and your parade of ignorance? Ye gods, the DERP is unbelievable.

edit: Fritz thats a nice hedge trimmer. Im old school- a homelite 925-B with a 42" and 36" bar. Skip tooth and full compliment chains in semi chisel.
Yeah! No trees on the ranchette, or across a road I need to drive, that an 18" bar can't work through.
I had a college friend/room-mate, that dropped out and went back to logging in North Idaho. A fellow logger dropped a tree on him. It was a nice funeral. These things happen in logging towns, fairly often.

My favorite chainsaw story concerns a logger that worked with my older (redneck) brother. He was walking down a tree that he had just dropped,cutting off the branches, and slipped. He knew he was supposed to throw his chainsaw the opposite way, but it hit a branch and took his hand off on the rebound.
