Dear syntax man, what is the meaning of the apostrophe in the sign above?

Hear him, you must. He sounds like Satchel Mouth. The Force is great in his chops.

Reformers argue that children are taking in too much sodium in schools, and that the changes are needed to protect their health. The average child aged 6 to 18 years old eats between 2,000 and 3,565 milligrams of sodium each day, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That’s nearly 33 percent more than the amount the CDC recommends for adults -- enough to contribute to hypertension.
As to apostrophe's, most people use spellchecker's which are not known to be right very often. Sign paintings another matter.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/antarctica-blood-falls-mystery-solved/
Beyond understanding the origins of the blood-red falls, the team also discovered that liquid water can exist inside the glacier
— something many scientists believed was impossible in nature.
"While it sounds counterintuitive, water releases heat as it freezes, and that heat warms the surrounding colder ice," UAF's Pettit said.
"Taylor Glacier is now the coldest known glacier to have persistently flowing water."

plu·ral·i·ty - noun
1. the fact or state of being plural.
"some language's add an extra syllable to mark plurality"
2. US - the number of votes cast for a candidate who receives more than any other but does not receive an absolute majority.
In socio-speak, plurality means your not the only one in the world and others have right's and need's.

In 1942, Glenn Miller's orchestra won the first Gold Record ever awarded for "Chattanooga Choo Choo."
In the Glenn Miller recording of "In The Mood", Beneke trades two-measure tenor solo exchanges with his fellow section-mate Al Klink. Glenn Miller's 1941 recording of "A String of Pearls" also has Beneke and Klink trading two-measure tenor solo phrases.

hey there say, ... wow, mouse...
you know... i miss this, been busy, so not listening to much music...
but doing the piano, here...
say, i remember when i first heard this stuff of his...
(old movies, when babysitting)
he was unforgettable... :)
back to childhood:
my dad was a good even-keeled guy... he never said anything about
the differences of races that i later learned about in school (and all the hate, etc) etc... everyone was equal, to him...
though he DID push education...
sweet daddy, :)
so when i first heard louie armstrong,
i never knew, or realized WHAT ALL he, and other black performers went through, 'back in those days'... he was JUST GREAT MUSIC, was all...
(same with nat king cole, in our house)...
but god makes a way for folks, in the midst of a hard world...
and did, for his skills, and for many, to get out into the world...
here you go:

wow...
my dad introduced me to classical, and, also to nat king cole,
and-- there was one other set of music around, though, i am not
sure what it was...
you know, those old OLD 45?s from wayyyyy back, :)
but, mainly in my time, he was all classical...
he later had IRISH flute, and FOLK irish-musicals, and such, that he enjoyed...
thank you daddy...
i went on to love music, due to you... >:D<
and too, my mom having a piano...
(my mom had all kinds of old folk music, and
classical too...)

nneebbee, so glad you shared.
I've cottoned to Louis since I got out of diapers, I guess. I knew who he was, let me say, at an early age, or so it seems.
Maybe I saw him on TV or the movies, most likely in a magazine, but I had a firm vision of a LA in my head by kindergarten, sho 'nuf.
He wasn't in my folks small stack of records, as they didn't buy them much, not with four kids to feed and clothe and educate.
My mother would listen to the pop tunes of the day over the radio in the big console with the record player and record shelf.
She would do her cleaning, rug-making, etc., to Dean Martin and his like, the whole crew of fifties singers,
because big swing bands were by then dinosaurs.
Non sequitur to follow. Don't say I didn't warn you.
