"Pictures?"

There are lots of pictures of UFOs. Many, many of the Phoenix Lights.

But what difference do pictures make, you wouldn't give them credit unless you took them yourself.

And you find this to be a credible video?

HJ and other doubters and debunkers (does the position come with a dental plan?),

Once again . . .

If you haven't watched the video from the NPC meeting in Washington DC on 9-27-10 then you must. Watch the whole thing:

http://blip.tv/play/AYH_7AoC

If you don't then you can't say squat.

I've watched it and recorded it. I'll probably watch again soon and take notes. There was a great part in the discussion near the end, where one of the gentlmen painted the US Government into a corner brilliantly . . .

You can not have it both ways:

1) On the one hand the US government says nothing too UFOs, and if there was something happening, they haven't been a threat.

2) On the other hand, these incidents do happen, nuclear sites are affected and shut-down at will by UFOs/ETs, not just here in the US but in other countries. CIA and the NSA come in and investigate and have the US Armed Force soldiers and officers sign non-disclosure statements and are told to not ever speak about it and sometimes even threatened.

Paraphasing from memory (I'll have to get it right later):

"You can not have it both ways. So what is it? What are we supposed to do and say? These things don't happen and there is nothing too UFOs? Or we aren't supposed to talk about what is happening after signing non-disclosure statements? So which is it?"

Both are lies.

Is the Turkey TV real?

It would be hard to hide that video from the masses if it were real. Still, I don't know how easy it would be to fake that. With film, you can verify the negatives and all. These days, with digital, you can fake just about anything. Take a look at my alien picture above... Even LEB was questioning the authenticity of those babys!

The Turkish tape is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.

a) These enormous craft can travel either inter-galactically or intra-galactically and still physically / structurally enter our atmosphere?

b) Can travel and hover in our atmosphere with no visible means of propulsion?

c) What exactly do you suppose was the intent of the alien fleet commander?

d) Were they just sight-seeing for the day?

e) Pretty stupid en masse move for 'secret stewards'?

f) Why not simply stick around long enough to say hi so long as they're in the neighborhood?

g) If you believe those craft are real then I would hope you would think this is the only one and true real UFO tape. Because I would hope you would think the odds of multiple alien civilizations expending the material resources of their planets conquering time travel in order to come here in the span of your lifetime would be too high even for you.

h) And if these are the one true UFO why wouldn't all the other tapes and films be showing these same crafts? As it is, ufo designs are a dime a dozen. Either there are lots of different visiting alien civilizations, or one alien civilization with a sh#t load of toys.

Pate,

You can look up my credentials you know this. Should I remind you not to post them???

Pretty straight foward day today. Picture Day for the students in all Physics and ES classes. And they got to see more of "NGS: For All Mankind." Awesome DVD if you haven't seen it. Lots of questions from the students about the US going to the moon just 41+ years ago. Incredible. Sad we have to look back to such an incredible venture. Why not now?

And no I do not talk about the Mothership on the backside (lol).

Somethings students are not ready for, or the World for that matter (lol).

healyje, to me, it seems you're trying to apply your world view onto something we know *nothing* about. If indeed those crafts are real (which I view as highly unlikely), then we can make no assumptions about what, why, how, etc. If they are real, then we have to be content with "is." You are smart enough to understand that.

Why they don't land and have tea? Well, why should they? What is their purpose? How on Earth (and I mean that literally) should we know.

But humor me for a minute--I quoted the Governor of AZ on the Phoenix Lights. Can you choose from the following list what you believe is going on, and why do you feel that way:

a) He is a blithering psycho and knows not what he's talking about.
b) It is not a real quote, the Governor never said any such things about the Phoenix Lights.
c) He was high at the time he saw the lights.
d) He mistook high-altitude flares for a large aircraft (even though he knows what the flairs look like).
e) Other.

TIA...

And yet, that is EXACTLY what the crewmember of an entire flight of nukes that he was in CHARGE of says happened. No burned out circuit boards, no radiation that was noticeable.

When I'm in charge of anything and it doesn't work, I'm going to blame aliens.

This is the dumbest thread on Supertopo ever.

Or

f) He's a publicity whore

g) He's now making money off the ufo thing - see wiki

Or

h) He's a liar

Later, Symington was indicted on charges of extortion, making false financial statements, and of bank fraud. He was convicted of bank fraud in 1997. As Arizona state law does not allow convicted felons to hold office, Symington resigned his office on September 5, 1997.[6]

OK, he made money from it:

On November 9, 2007, Symington appeared with a panel of guests discussing their UFO experiences on Larry King Live. A few days later, on November 12, Symington acted as moderator for a UFO press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Other speakers included U.S./foreign military witnesses/public officials involved in some major UFO cases, such as the 1980 Rendlesham Forest incident, 1990 Belgium UFO incident, and 1976 Tehran UFO incident, and heads of some official foreign government UFO investigations, such as Nick Pope in the U.K. and Claude Poher of France. They said the phenomenon was quite real, should be taken seriously, and urged that the U.S. reopen its public UFO investigation.[15]

Symington also appeared as a witness of the Phoenix Lights in an updated version of the 2002 UFO documentary Out of the Blue by filmmaker James Fox. Fox helped organize the witness panels for both the Larry King show and followup National Press Club event.[16]

Like, he went on to organize and moderate UFO press conferences. Wow, what an inglorious money grubber, he went on to organize UFO events after having witnessed a large event himself.

Until a UFO lands in your front yard and the ETs get out and have tea with you, you will continue to look the other way. That is fine. However, there are thousands of creditable witnesses, photos, and other types of evidence. Yet I can understand people's unwillingness to believe any of it--it's a though nut to swallow.

Hey, when there are thousands of ufo sightings and many of them purported crafts in and above our cities, it would suffice if one of them simply landed in a public place and said hello. None of our languages should be a barrier of any kind for a civilization which can decipher time travel - so being able to communicate can't be the issue. And golly, if they're interested enough in us to care about our nukes, which can't possibly threaten them, then you'd think they'd be interested enough to communicate with us.

But no, just like our gods, there's always some excuse or rationale why simple, direct, public appearances and communication just can't happen.

The rational could well be that we're not ready for contact with them, that our collective civilization doesn't want to be interfered with at this point so they leave us at arms' length, just letting us know they are around so we can make the choice when we're ready and need help.

That's the cosmic rules I'm told. We're babies here and have to grow up enough to want to join the big party

I suppose that could be a rationale for one alien civilization who invested big to come here - how about all the other alien civilizations implied by the plethora of crafts? They all decided to spend bazillions of whatever their currencies / resource measures are to just come hang out and peek? Sure, I almost believe that. A real flock of angels in spacecraft. And they didn't leave a cell# so we could get a hold of them in a time of need? What are we supposed to do, mow down some corn?

There IS a small difference between your flat bottomed rowboat with a trolling motor, your worn out Chevy, and a billion dollar nuke launching silo with all the fail safe, triple redundant engineering built into it that the minds of ten thousand educated specialists with unlimited budgets can stack in one place.

Incredibly sophisticated and with many thousands parts, all supplied and assembled by the lowest bidder. And fail safe, just like the space shuttle and Apollo 1 and 13.

The technology may be different but human psychology is the same.

I'm blaming aliens.

Let's look at all of this "fail safe, triple redundant engineering" from the "minds of ten thousand educated specialists with unlimited budgets."

This is the technology (ICBM's) that we are talking about.

the life on earth experiment has run amok, why would any race that sophisticated want any direct contact with blood thirsty humans ? they see us maim and kill each other. Its truly not safe here, is my personal experience.

They came this far, staying out of harms way is logical

I agree with Karls rational too

Well K-man, if the 'crafts' in the Turkish video are to be believed then they show enough architectural features and flight dynamics to make some assumptions.

Advanced propulsion systems
Advanced material science
Advanced structural engineering
Advanced avionics
Advanced computer controls
Advanced energy use / reuse
Advanced life support systems
Advanced communications

That's enough to assume they think and think within the confines of a certain logic. That they didn't annihilate themselves before coming means they had some amount of common sense - so yes, I expect them at a minimum to use some basic logic and common sense.

So again, you're an alien civilization which has conquered infinite energy and time travel and you spot a planet with life.

So you decide to visit it, why?

But you do decide to visit and discover it habitable and inhabited by billions of a sentient species with digital electronic, computing, and flight capabilities. And you have nothing to say to them after making the trip? Just hang it out and flash them and split without a word.

Got it, next.
