Spraying weeds on the Ranchette today at 55 degrees.
Snow/rain/wind tomorrow and the rest of the week.
Such is winter life in Idaho.
Our "rope-rocket" Kim has fled to Moab.
Oh! Yeah!
What am I drinking?
Finishing with a little Pendleton Canadian Whiskey tonight.
But last weekend with my old climbing buddies: we got into the "hard-stuff."

blessings on the blossoming brains,

430 wednesday. a fukin m.
its snowing outside,
my work is done for the day,
honey i brought home 500 dollars for two weeks groceries,
so im free to play as i may.
o' gotta blazing fee ray in the wood box o' my hut
and im watching the snow and rain play.

i heard mucci singing enya once when he was buzzed.
im not climbing cause im a domestic bum. with bliss-killing-bills,
though my bad habits need constant discipline

so i summon the philanthropic demons and babtise it with altering chemicals.

Happy almost Friday!
A "hot-toddy" to warm up: when we got home from the snowy & blowy 250 mile day biz/shopping trip, & a bottle of Chateau St Michell Cab with dinner.
Funny how the vehicles upside-down in the ditch are usually SUV's?
Such is winter-life in rural America.

Just some beers for now.
I'm sitting at the piano listening to the classic rock station, and playing along with the tunes as they come on live. Good ear training practice, as there's no time to learn the chords. You just gotta figger 'em out and play.

Oops! Seems like a broke a few rules. Let me make amends
1) Cheap white wine out of a box.
2) The joys of aid climbing are extremely overrated.
3) I am a pathetic lazy old fart. However in my defense the weather up here in New England hasn't quite turned the corner and I don't ice climb. Nevertheless I will be climbing on Sunday at the Crag That Can Not Be Named on Sunday and I will have a selection of popular brews available in the parking lot after the climbing is done

Ah, I finally remembered Friday night!
Just starting out with beers, switching to some Barefoot Cheapo Grigio. I am verily the world's worst free climber, and yer all gonna die! And I actually went climbing the other day, and may even go climbing again on Sunday. [Keep that toprope tight on me!]
